Kathryn's POVThis is the place where I first cried to my heart's content, the same place where it was fixed and dreamt of a happily ever after. Every time I feel like spending an undisturbed days with my little family, eto ang unang pumapasok sa isip ko. Napakapayapa.
The villa where we are staying has a connecting room and nandoon sila yaya at Kaiah. She said she wants to be independent because she has to prepare to be an "ate" to a younger sibling.
As to my husband, hindi ko rin masabi yung totoong nararamdam nya kasi mabilis pa sa alas kwatro when he had our guest room turned into Kaiah's princess-themed room. Nag-hire agad ng interior designer eh.
Ngayon na tapos na yung shooting at promo ng movie ko, my husband is starting to accept directorial jobs in the company again. Ako naman ang totoka sa anak namin full time pero before that, bakasyon muna, and one fashion show in Bangkok to attend to.
I'm just waiting for him and his kwento from earlier.
It's just the crashing of the waves and the lovely see breeze. New moon din ngayon.
"Love." I felt a wool against my back. "Malamig." It was Alden. I lovingly stared at him and leaned against his chest.
"Thanks, Love."
Mahigpit nya akong niyakap.
I rolled my eyes and turned to him. "Wag mo nang ituloy ang pick up line mo, Love." Tumawa naman sya at hinanda yung tsaa naming dalawa.
"Chamomile?" He chirped.
"We deserve to sleep soundly."
"Of course. "You worked hard, my Love."
I smiled at him and inhaled the aroma of our favorite tea. "You did a great job, too, husband."
With a tea cup on his hand, he sat at the rocking chair facing the beach, "I love being married to you, I hope you don't forget that." He sipped on his cup and gestured that I sit with him. It's a big rocking chair at kahit na maluwag pa naman, sumiksik ako sa kanya and he giggled like a teenager.
"I love being married to you, too," I replied.
We enjoyed a silent tea time for a while and then he started to speak about what happened to him earlier.
"Mom actually sent me a message about dressing modest and talked to me about giving up my job, pero I didn't take it as an offense. Though, yes, I did notice she was acting different." I honestly told Alden.
"When I saw her kanina doon, parang ibang tao ang nanay ko. Look at this, Love." He showed me the photos and videos he took at that church.
"Kinikilabutan ako. Sino naman to, Love?" I zoomed in the woman sitting on a golden throne.
"Sabi nung detective, sya yung High Priestess ng kulto."
"Naka-cape?"
"Yes."
"Grabe." "We need to get mom out of that cult."
"Yeah. Daddy said he will take care of it.
Sasagot na sana ako when his phone rang and flashed an unknown number. Binigay ko sa kanya ang phone nya and he answered it. "Hello?"
"Talaga ba? Salamat naman, Detective. I will be sending my father's phone number. Oo, Detective, maraming salamat. Bye."
I saw him saved the number under Detective Chiu handle and sent her Daddy's number. Seryoso nyang ginawa yun.
"You didn't tell me that Detective was a she."
"I didn't?"
"Yes."
I'm sure naman that I'm gonna mention it."
"Ricardo ha..."
"Nagseselos ka ba?" He sheepishly asked and pulled me to him. "Kathryn Chandria Bernardo Faulkerson is jealous?"
Hindi ako kumibo kasi oo, I think I am. "Is she pretty?" I asked.
"She is."
Tinampal ko yung dibdib nya kaya napaubo sya. "Whyyy???" he scoffed. "I am just being honest, Love."
"Crush mo?!"
"Susmaryosep. No one else comes close.
Nang hindi parin ako kumibo, he hugged me. "I am yours and yours alone. Forever under your spell."
"Ginawa mo naman akong witch."
Tumawa na sya on this part. "Sayo nga nagmana si Kaiah. Palaging may sagot eh."
"Mas nagmana sayo noh!" I pulled away.
Diba yung braso yung nasaktan? Pero naka-nguso po sya, your honor. "Mamanyakin mo na naman ako, RJ..."
"Promise hindi... ko sure."
"Ay tang—" The next words were drowned by the way my husband kissed me. He was deliciously ravishing me and... no God, I'm never complaining.
He lifted me and brought me to our bed. "I love you, wife." He knows what to say and where exactly to hold me. That easy, and my knees go jelly.
