"We're sorry po but Direk A is not available for any interview. Our TVC shoot is also happening in a few minutes and we regret to inform you that no one can get inside since we're strictly implementing full confidentiality on this project. Sana po maintindihan nyo."

I heard RJ's staff explained to one of the reporters outside. They didn't notice it was me who passed by.

I stood at the back of the door and waited til they go away.

"Kanina pa ba sila?" I asked RJ's staff.

"Kagabi pa po actually, Ma'am."

"Grabe."

"Malapit na ba kayo matapos? I need to see your boss, eh."

"Ay tapos na po kami. Nagsinungaling lang po ako sa mga reporters. Bago po ako bigyan ng instruction ni Direk A na paalisin sila, papunta na po sya sa tent nya para magpahinga."

"Wala pang tulog, ano?"

"Opo eh."

"Alright, puntahan ko nalang. Thank you."

RJ. To think he told me he'll drive us to Lolo Fausto's mansion. Eh pagod naman pala.

As I approached his tent, I found him resting, his face lighting up with surprise upon seeing me.

"My love, you seem to develop muscles under your eyes overnight," I joked and ran to him.

"Uy joke time na naman ni Misis," he pinched my nose. "What brought you here, Love? I told you naman na uuwi ako before lunch time."

"You don't have to, Love. I brought us food and ako na magdadrive papunta sa mansion ni Lolo. Kaiah has been calling me nonstop. She's waiting for us."

Today is his grandmother's death anniversary and Kaiah is there kahapon pa.

RJ insisted on driving but I gently convinced him it was alright—he needed the rest.

The drive was filled with shared memories and laughter, as we honored his grandmother's legacy.

Once at the mansion, everybody immersed in nostalgia, reminiscing about the love and warmth she had brought to their family. There were no cheesy lines from Lolo but it's evident he respects her so much.

When Kaiah asked me about her daddy, dun ko palang napansin na wala si RJ sa living room. I asked my in-laws where could he possibly be and they told me he might be in the basement or at the study room, if not in the bedroom. So as the sun began to dip below the horizon, I wandered off to find him.

I found him in his lola's painting studio, peacefully asleep with her portrait resting on his chest. It was a tender moment, I must say.

As I stood up, I noticed a photograph of my grandmother as a teen on the wall. How could it be? My heartbeat quickened, feeling the connection of generations as I realized how intertwined our families were pala talaga.

"Love?" RJ husked. Pupungas pungas syang umupo. "Sorry, nakatulog ako dito. Hahanapin ko lang sana yung scrapbook na ginawa namin ni Lola dati para ipakita sa inyo ni Kaiah eh."

"It's okay, Love. Nag-alala lang ako kasi bigla kang nawala."

"Bumalik na tayo sa loob?"
