In a shocking turn of events, Burger-Zord Jr. turned against its own father. With a fierce cry, the little burger-monster launched itself at the Burger-Zord, distracting it long enough for Sonic to land a devastating spin dash.
But just as victory seemed within their grasp, the Burger-Zord's energy blast rebounded off Sonic's spin dash, striking the hedgehog with incredible force.
Sonic's eyes widened in shock as he stumbled backward, his body glowing with a faint, golden light. The friends watched in horror as Sonic's form began to distort, his body dissolving into a cloud of golden particles.
"No!" Collin shouted, his voice filled with despair. "Sonic, no!"
The golden particles dispersed, leaving nothing behind but a faint trace of Sonic's iconic blue quills. The friends stood in stunned silence, unable to comprehend what had just happened.
Burger-Zord Jr. approached them, its eyes filled with tears. "I'm... I'm so sorry. I didn't mean for that to happen."
The friends couldn't bring themselves to blame the little burger-monster. They knew that Sonic had sacrificed himself to save the world from the Burger-Zord's evil plans.
