love is a tragedy.
to give someone your heart
in its entirety
would that not hurt?
would you not feel empty?
and the idea of falling
for somebody
it leaves me thinking
wouldn't that break your body?
love is a tragedy.
you had all my love,
my trust entirely
but i'd given so much
it had left me empty.
and i found that i fell
so far from reality
that i'd almost forget
it had broken my body.
now all i can be
is an empty, broken version of me
i believe truly,
love is a tragedy.
