Today is Calista's first day at P.D High. Excitement blossoms on her face. "I couldn't imagine life without powers." she thought, at the same time deciding to wear a "cute winter outfit".

At P.D Middle, Calista was the top of her class, and since there's only twelve of the "Advanced" kids, she doesn't think it'll be any different this year. "Though, I did hear that a new advanced would be coming out of homeschool this year, exciting! Maybe we'll be friends." Calista pondered.

Walking down the stairs, Calista's dad greeted her with a smile. "Good morning honey, how was your sleep?" His voice was as warm as always. "Sleep? I couldn't sleep when I'm starting P.D High!" Calista exclaimed, tripping over herself and falling down the stairs.

" *sigh* Be careful ok C." Calista's dad was more serious than she had ever seen, like he wasn't telling her something. "Dad, you good?" Calista questioned, picking herself up. Walking towards her dad, Calista saw tears pouring out of his eyes. "Dad!" Sniffling, Calista's dad looked back at her.

"It's nothing C, it's just that you're growing up faster than I expected." Calista felt like her dad was lying, but didn't pry further. "You better hurry up, the bus is almost here." "Right, see you after school!"

Calista smiled, running through the door. When she looked back all she saw was her father waving with tears full in his eyes. "Goodbye my daughter." he mumbled, making sure Calista didn't hear him.

Jace

"Great my first day at P.D High." Jace grumbled, finding a seat on the bus. It was pretty nice though. In the seat across from him was the quiet kid of the P.D schools, Cosmo Yu. No one knew why though, the only thing really unique about him was his purple hair which resembled galaxies.

Behind him was Ayzen Thompson, which was obvious because he couldn't keep his mouth shut for the life of him.

Sitting next to him was Sage Yu, as calm as her brother, though Jace never understood why she was friends with Ayzen, they were literally polar opposites. In front of him was Destiny, a brat honestly. Jace only saw her as an entitled, egotistical, perfectionist.

The rest of the people, Jace could care less about, he mostly kept to himself and his music, one thing he and Cosmo had in common. The bus had arrived at the next stop. A blonde haired girl walked in. "Why are her eyes so crystal blue?" Jace thought, a lot of things bothered him and bright colors were one of them.

The girl walked closer and Jace recognized her. "Jace!" "Oh, it's you Calista." "Didn't you miss me over the summer? I grew a lot! I also learned how to control my powers better and-"

*BUS MICROPHONE* "Young lady in the back, please take a seat" Calista quickly darts down next to Jace and continues ranting while Jace just turns on his headphones and tunes her out.

Ezariah

"Homeschooling was going just great so of course they had to enroll me in stupid P.D High." Ezariah thought, waiting for the bus to arrive. While waiting, she looks down at her phone and opens up an application allowing her to view all the cameras in her house.

She switches to her parents bedroom and turns on sound. "We finally got her out of the house David! Aren't you glad!" "I'm glad we'll finally get our compensation Cherry!" Both of her parents laugh. "Wait what?" Ezariah mumbles.

Before she could ponder on it more, the bus arrived. She switched off her phone and walked in. Almost immediately, she identified 10 kids, which wasn't out of the ordinary since there were only 12 "Advanced" teens.

"The last one is probably at the final bus stop." She concluded, all of that happening in her mind in less than .5 seconds. Ezariah wasn't always fond of her powers, but she had to live with them so, oh well.
