Sam stared blanket at the road as she waited for a green light. This was deathly boring.
As far as she was concerned the traffic was going to be the death of her. All she wanted to do was go home, which happened to be a penthouse suite in the very casino she quit working at.
But she still owned part of it.
"Come on already." Sam uttered.
She sat back in her shiny black Cadillac, what a day it has been. Now came the hard part. Taking care of her sister, her horrible drunk of a sister she always covered for.
That was the only reason her sister still hadn't had a bullet to her head yet and she knew it.
Even though being second in command paid better than a chicken job she might be getting more than that. The thought of her sisters stupidity made her rage bubble up.
The sound of another car honking from behind her made her step on the gas, quickly snapping out of her train of thought.
As she turned into the parking lot, her eyes drifted over to her rear view mirror. Huh no one was there.
She parked her car and locked it,leaning up on the hood and sighing. Sobering up her sister was a mentally challenging task.
Whatever, as long as she knew her sister couldn't say something to get the both of them killed. Sam started to walk over to the doors, she pulled out a ring of keys and unlocked it, going inside.
The elevator music was loud and irritating to Sam. She wished it would be a silent ride but no, there had to be music.
Ding. Went the elevator as the doors slid open. The smell of vanilla hit her nose as she stepped into the comfortable lounge of the penthouse.
She walked over and there lay her sister, sleeping on the couch, looking like a mess. As usual.
"Hey, get up!" Sam yelled as she grabbed the blanket off Margaret.
"Mary you have a meeting with the guy pretty soon! You need to be awake."
Mary yawned tiredly and groaned, stretching on the couch. She halfway sat up and looked at Sam. "What?"
Her voice was a little slurry as she groaned. Mary raised a hand to her head in response to her hangover. Sam was way to annoyed.
"Get up, you need to look presentable for the guy." Sam crossed the room to the mini bar and poured a small glass of pink wine for herself.
Taking a small sip she looked down towards her sister, she watched as Mary slowly got up and walked to her room. Sam sighed softly as she adjusted to the light.
"Stupid sister." She uttered as she finished the last of her drink.

"Yeah boss, she just went to the casino. Yes the very same. What am I supposed to do? I can't just hide in one of the guest rooms until she comes out."
Mike sighed as he held the phone to his ear and listened as Gus explained to simply sit tight until she moved again "alright, okay I get it. Make sure she don't do nothing suspicious. Is that all? Okay I'll call you if anything happens."
Mike heard the line click as he closed his flip phone. At least this place had camera's up the wazoo. That's how you know it's a good casino is his opinion.
All he had to do now was wait. Wait for anything that would set off a red flag. Sam just needed to slip, and everything else would come like dominos.
So far, all he'd seen her do now was go out onto the patio and smoke the occasional cigarette.
This was going to be a long night.
About three hours later.
Mike just happened to watch the two suspicious men coming into the casino, he raised an eyebrow. Peering at the two with binoculars may look odd but no one noticed Mike with his tinted windows.
"And who are you?" He uttered as one of the men looked from left to right.
He thought the two looked like those Salamanca brothers, with how closely they resembled eachother.
As he lost sight Mike knew he needed to mention this to Gus. maybe then he would let him do the honors of getting rid of this girl.

"What can I do for you?" The receptionist at the casino smiled at the two men. One of them, the one wearing a dark green suit looked at the young man.
"We have a meeting with the boss. Tell her we're here." His voice seemed menacing but it did have a tiny bit of a squeak.
The other man wearing a dark mahogany red suit sighed. "She'll be expecting us."
The receptionist nodded and quickly buzzed the room. Mary yawned into the mic "bring em' up"
"You can go, Top floor and head to the right. Have a good evening."
The men nodded and casually made their way up to the elevator. They both stood through the ride in silence.
As they walked towards the office they could hear two women yelling behind the door. Once they knocked it was instantly quiet. Sam was the one to open the door.
"Hello, come in." Sam smiled at the two. They didn't give her a second glance. This irritated her somewhat but she didn't mind.
Mary was seated at the opposite side of the desk, sharp grin on her face. She was smiling wide enough anyone could see her shiny gold tooth, even as it was in the corner of her smile it stood out.
"Welcome. Gald you two could make it, Caden, Garret? How are you?"
Mary shook their hands, a big wide smile as they all seated. Sam sighed, quickly turning to leave the room.
"Oh uhm Sam?" Mary smiled.
Sam didn't turn to look at her "yes Mary?"
"Have a good sleep. I know you have that whole 'Job' situation tomorrow and I want you to be ready. I know how you like to sleep in." Mary's voice made Sam want to hit her but she refrained.
"Night, thanks for caring" Sam uttered as she closed the door.
Sam was far from annoyed with her sister, but she could handle it.
For now.
