The next morning came by like a breeze, I awoke from my deep sleep and stretched. Yesterday was any normal day for me. But I had no idea that my life would change so much. I got ready to head to the Butterfly Mansion like always and headed there as soon as possible. When I arrived, Lady Kocho was there. "Good morning Asaka." she smiled. I bowed, "Good morning Lady Kocho" She stayed silent for a moment before handing me a small bouquet of flowers. "Oh wow!" I gasped, lightly gripping the flowers in my hands. "Thank you so much, ma'am. These are beautiful." I was clearly under the wrong impression because she shook her head. "I didn't pick those. Look at the note attached to them." I turned the bouquet with my hands to see a small note tied to the bouquet. I flipped over the white piece of paper to see, thank you for always being kind.

I smiled widely at the note. "Aww, how sweet. Who is it from?" I looked up from my bouquet and asked. Lady Kocho shrugged, "I have no idea. I came by this morning to see it resting on the front door." She smirked and looked me up and down, "Maybe you have a secret admirer." I blushed at her teasing words, of course not. This was obviously someone who was grateful for my care. "I'm not sure about that." I giggled. She turned to walk away, "I shall be going, I have some tests to run. Have a good day today Asaka!" she waved. I waved back, "You as well Lady Kocho!"

I walked into the Butterfly Mansion and headed to the kitchen to get a vase. Aoi was cooking in there when I walked in. She glanced over at me with a confused look on her face. "Who got you those?" I grabbed a vase from the cupboard and set it down on the counter. I turned to face her and said, "Oh! I don't know but the note says, 'Thank you for always being kind.'" She gave me a disgusted look, "That's kinda creepy that you don't know who it's from." I giggled, "I think it's sweet, whoever it is seems to be shy." She rolled her eyes, "You are always so happy, I don't get you." She went back to cooking. I giggled, fulling the vase with water. "I am going to leave the flowers in here until I go home today, is that okay?" I asked, turning back towards Aoi, still cooking. "I don't care, this isn't my mansion. Shinobu loves you so I'm sure it's okay." I smiled at her words, "Thank you!" I set the vase gently on the table and set off to start my day.

I was extremely productive today, maybe because of the flowers. I felt giddy and smiled whenever I thought about them. I tried to figure out who would do such a gesture and I felt short. I had no idea, and it was killing me. Before long, Lady Kocho returned to the mansion. "Good day ma'am!" I bowed, with way more energy than normal. She smiled, "Someone's happy." I stood back up straight and grinned, "I can't help it, whoever that sweetheart was really made my day." She giggled, "I love you, you're so precious. Gushing over her secret admirer". I blushed wildly, my cheeks becoming warm with a tint of pink. "Maybe." I replied, cupping my face in my hands. Lady Kocho looked as if a light bulb went off in her mind, "Speaking of secret admirer." She turned around and reached into her bag, pulling out a box of steaming hot dumpling. The smell was heavenly, making my stomach rumble as a result. "I found these in my office while I was testing some medication." She said, as she turned the note on top of the box around. It said, 'For Asaka'. I stared at the note, grinning once again. "Gosh, thank goodness. I did not have anything to eat today."

Lady Kocho frowned, "What did I tell you? To make sure you're fed, yes?" I glanced away in embarrassment, I hated when she lectured me. "I'm sorry, I was very productive today though!" She playfully rolls her eyes and sighs, "Sit down and eat these dumplings." I nodded, snatching the dumplings and walking outside to find a spot.

I found a beautiful spot to eat a delicious box of dumplings by a field of beautiful flowers. They brought me peace as they gently swayed in the wild. I sat down slowly, opening the box of my miracle food. Before I could start eating, I felt a presence sit beside me.

"May I sit with you?"
