Matt's POV

It was almost 3 Am when we got home due to the hospital taking so long.

"How is she?" I asked to Nick while driving to our house.

We decided that y/n would sleep at our house for the night just in case. Not only because she was injured but we weren't sure if her address had been revealed to anyone.

"She's still sleeping."

Nick and y/n were in the back seat while Chris sat next to me.

"She's okay. It's okay." Chris said patting my shoulder.

"It's my fault and that's not okay."

"It's not your fault Matt. Don't talk like that."

"Okay."

Once we got home I carried y/n inside.

"I can walk you know."

"No you can't just let me help you."

"Fine."

"Are you hungry?"

"No just tired."

"I can fix that sweetheart."

I carried y/n to my room so she could sleep.

"Matt."

"Yea what do you need?"

"I've been in this room enough to know it's yours."

"Yea and?"

"Where are you going to sleep?"

"Don't worry about it."

"Matt please the least I can do is let you sleep here too."

"If it will make you go to sleep then fine."

I climbed into the bed trying to not get too close to y/n. I know we said we loved each other at the hospital and she gave me a kiss. But she was doped up on the drugs still.

"What are you doing?" Y/n asks as she scoots closer to me.

"I didn't want to overstep."

"I meant what I said at the hospital Matt."

I pulled her head onto my chest and began to play with her hair and rubbing her back.

"Go to sleep sweetheart. I'm not going anywhere."

She looks up to me and leans in for a kiss before going to sleep.

Still Matt's POV

"Hey are you guys up?" Chris asks walking into the room.

"Shhh"

"Oh sorry I didn't know. Breakfast is here when y'all get up." Chris says whispering.
