It's been 5 weeks since you started college, it's been good so far you have got really close to all of your teammates especially juju Watkins who had easily became one of your friends having the same interest as you.

You and kk talk every day, FaceTiming after practice to tell each other how it went and how bonding with the team was going.

                             1 Month!

The calls and texts were getting less frequent but shrugging it off knowing she's busy with practice, seeing kk active on social media and bonding with her new teammates, it hurt you seeing she was ignoring your texts but not saying anything not want to bother her.

Sitting on your bed in juju's arms crying, as juju continued to rub your back letting you cry in her chest "It's ok y/n, let it all out" she says patting your head hoping it calm you down a bit "Why me?, she promised," "I know, it's going to be ok I promise,".

Bring your head out of her chest looking up at her "Don't say that please," "But I mean it I'll never make a promise I can't keep," juju says bring her pinky up, looking down at you with a small grin on her face "You promise?" You ask quietly "I promise" juju say interlocking y'all pinky's together.

Juju brought you back in the hug, laying her head on yours rubbing you back, "Let's get some ice cream, we can get Lorenzo on the way there" unwrapping your arms from her to get your phone "Ok can we get it from Zesto?" you asked "Yeah sure, what ever you want" juju answer, grabbing you hand leading you out of the room.

Closing your phone, a small huff came out of you mouth as you let you thoughts take over, "Did that kiss mean nothing to her?" "She really had my hopes up for nothing", getting up to turn off the lights, putting in your AirPods playing stranger, you feel yourself began to sob softly at the thought of the girl you love becoming a stranger to you like y'all never meet.
