You Juju and Lorenzo were in the indoor track sitting on the ground eating McDoanlds "So when y'all next game?" Lorenzo asked as he shoved a chicken nugget in his mouth, you and Juju both looked at him with a disgusted face "First close your mouth when you Chew, and it's this Tuesday" you see Lorenzo give you a stank face before rolling his eyes.
"Whatever, who y'all go against?" you stayed quiet not wanting to answer "We go against UConn" rolling your eyes, let out a huff beginning to play with your necklace kk necklace "That shit is going to be helll" Juju let out a hum in agreement "Yeah but have faith in yourselves" Lorenzo says trying to be helpful.
It's not like you didn't have faith that y'all would win, it was that you had to see her again the girl you try to forget get but can't get her out your mine, even it after a couple of months you can't get yourself to take off the necklace.
You heard Juju call your name breaking you out of you trance "You ok?" Juju ask you with a knowingly look on her face knowing what your think about "Yeah am fine just thinking" giving her a smile not wanting for her to worry.
Couple minutes later!
Y'all had went back to the dorms to get ready for Lorenzo track meet.
Juju walk's in your room "Hey juju you done get ready?" you ask "Yeah am done, we need to talk" Juju says sitting across from you, you feel yourself getting nervous knowing what she going to say.
"Don't be nervous tomorrow, just don't try to think about it well her" shaking your head at her words "I know I'll try..." juju feels a bit guilty, getting up placing a kiss on your forehead giving you a side hug "But on the bright side we get to beat one of the best teams" you let out a little laugh "Don't jinx us juju" "I'm not, we should go now the meet start soon".
You start to think about Juju words maybe things won't be so bad but only if you know it was the day before disaster.
