The man in black stabbed his sword towards her. Seeing this, Wu Ying flew forward to block the sword with his own.

He pulled Su Mo up and anxiously asked, "How are you?"

Su Mo panted for breath, her eyes somewhat blurred as she shrank into Wu Ying's arms. "So uncomfortable..."

Wu Ying's eyebrows twisted as his heart raced abnormally fast. He breathed heavily, looking at Su Mo's flushed lips, unable to stop his throat from moving.

It felt like there was a fire burning inside his body. He didn't even seem to notice the willow leaf dart the man in black threw over.

"Watch out!" Su Mo flipped over and lay on Wu Ying's shoulder. The willow leaf dart pierced into her shoulder.

Wu Ying's eyes flashed coldly. It felt like his heart had been stabbed. "Miss Su!"

A burst of anger welled up and he grabbed his sword, flying over. He forcefully circulated his internal energy and the originally hard sword edge suddenly softened. The man in black didn't have time to dodge before the sword wrapped around his arm. With a flick of his wrist, in just a moment, the man in black's entire arm was severed.

"Ahhhh!" The man in black fell down, rolling on the ground in pain.

The other man in black was shocked and immediately went to check on his brother.

Wu Ying leaned on his body to stand up. Taking advantage of the man in black's lapse in vigilance, he hugged Su Mo and flew onto the roof.

The man in black wanted to chase them but was stopped by his injured brother grabbing his leg. "Brother, save me..."

The man in black hesitated before ultimately not chasing them.

He really hadn't expected Wu Ying to still be so fierce even after being drugged.

...

By now, it was almost dawn.

Su Mo realized they were outside the city now, not inside Lan City.

Wu Ying's scent kept wafting into her nose, making her unconsciously keep rubbing against his chest.

Wu Ying's eyebrows twisted and he leaned her against a big tree.

"Wu Ying...we'll die if we don't do it, right?" Su Mo panted, feeling like her whole body was a furnace.

Wu Ying looked at her, his voice somewhat hoarse. "There's poison on this dart. If I don't suck it out, you'll definitely die."

"Ah? My luck is just too bad..."

Wu Ying paused. "Miss Su, please forgive me."

As he spoke, he pulled down the clothes on Su Mo's shoulder. Before Su Mo could react, his lips were already pressed against her skin.

The sensation of their skin touching made Su Mo involuntarily shiver. "What are you doing?"

Wu Ying didn't speak, sucking out the poisoned blood mouthful by mouthful.

"Aren't you...going to get poisoned?" Su Mo's face was a little pale, and she wasn't being coy.

"Didn't you hear what those two people just said? I'm immune to all poisons."

"That awesome? You're actually immune to all poisons... Then why did the doctor say earlier that you were poisoned?"

"I've been poisoned many times, it just doesn't affect my body."

Wu Ying spit out the last mouthful of poisoned blood, took out some wound medicine from his clothes, and sprinkled it on Su Mo's wounds. He then took out a handkerchief and bandaged her up.
