*I DO NOT OWN THE NINJAGO UNIVERSE AND ITS PAST, PRESENT AND EMERGING CHARACTERS. AND THE PLOT OF THE SHOW. I ONLY OWN MY CURRENT CHARACTER | SAMUEL JASON HOLLAND. *

In the serene halls of the Monastery of Spinjitzu, the ancient stones echoed with the distant sounds of playful sounds of playful banter and mock combat. The monastery, with its traditional East Asian architecture, featured curved, tiled roofs, wooden beams, and ornate designs. Master Wu is in quiet meditation within the man hall, its wooden floors and paper sliding doors exuding a sense of calm. The tranquillity was momentarily interrupted by the lively voices of Kai, Cole and Jay echoing through the corridors.

Curious about the source of the commotion, Master Wu followed the sound towards the common area, expecting that the ninjas were playing their video game. To his surprise, upon opening the wooden sliding door, he found the room empty and quiet, save for Jay's spirited exclamations from another part of the monastery.

Retracing his steps towards the training grounds, Master Wu was greeted by the sight of each ninja fully immersed in their rigorous training. The training grounds, adjacent to the main structure, were equipped with various equipment and targets. Jay moved with lightning reflexes, deflecting arrows launched from a distant target with precise skill. Cole's powerful strikes dismantled the wooden training dummies with controlled force. Kai spun in a whirlwind of his Spinjitzu, the fiery energy of his elemental powers creating a radiant spectacle against the morning light. Zane, ever serene, remained in a meditative stillness nearby, embodying calm amidst the flurry of activity.

Seated calmly on the steps leading into the training grounds, Sam observed the training with a keen eye. The stone steps and winding pathways, lined with lush greenery and ancient dragon statues, provided a picturesque view of the serene surroundings. A book was rested in one of Sam's hands. He held a piece of cut-up apple in the other. Master Wu's gaze lingered on the seasoned ninja and noticed a bandage wrapped around Sam's left bicep as he approached quietly.

"Why aren't you training with the others, Samuel?" Master Wu inquired gently, his eyes reflecting concern for his seasoned disciple.

Sam looked up with a wry grin, acknowledging the unspoken question. "They won't let me," he replied cryptically, nodding towards his bandaged arm.

Master Wu observed as Sam noticed a subtle flaw in Cole's technique - a slight misalignment that could impact his precision in combat. Sam hopped off the ground and tapped Cole on the shoulder, drawing his attention. Cole turned and was surprised, yet welcoming of Sam's guidance. With calm expertise, Sam explained the correction and demonstrated the proper technique fluidly. Cole nodded eagerly, his arm soon draped over Sam's shoulder as they leaned in, discussing the finer points of stance and movement.

Kai's spirited cry of "Ninja, go!" echoed through the tranquil halls of the monastery, breaking the serene atmosphere that enveloped the training grounds. Zane engrossed in his meditation, abruptly leapt to his feet and dashed across the courtyard with unexpected agility, starling Jay as he crossed his path.

"Hey! Huh?" Jay exclaimed, thrown off balance by Zane's sudden appearance.

"So if you strike like this —" Sam began, about to demonstrate a new technique to Cole using a wooden training weapon. Before he could complete his motion, Zane swiftly intercepted the weapon from Sam's hand, like a magic trick. Sam looked down at his now empty hand.

"Huh?" Sam unfettered in mild confusion, raising an eyebrow at Zane.

Cole, standing nearby, exclaimed, "Hey! What?"
