मैंने रातों जाग कर देखा है,
सुबह होने मे साल लगते हैं।
मैंने इंतज़ार करके देखा है,
सब्र आने मे साल लगते हैं।
मैंने अंधेरों मे रह कर देखा है,
रोशनी तक पहुंचने मे साल लगते हैं।
मैंने अपनो को पराये होते देखा है,
होश आने मे साल लगते हैं।
मैंने ठोकर खा कर देखा है,
दुबारा संभलने मे साल लगते है।

Morning light takes years to be...
I've waited long, patience to find,
It takes years to ease the mind...
I've dwelled in dark, seeking light,
Reaching brightness takes years, not slight...
I've seen loved ones drift away, Realization takes years, they say...
I've stumbled hard, hit the ground,
Getting up takes years, I've found...
