Chapter 5 - Apologize

I woke up the next day and checked the time. WHAT THE HECK?!

I immediately stood up and went downstairs.

"Ma, ba't di mo ako ginising? Late na ako." i put down my plate in the table and eat fast as I can.

"aba'y kakakigising ko lang din, akala ko nga umalis ka na." she said.

Arghh, double time, Cleore. Anong oras na. Kung ano-ano pa kasi iniisip kagabi eh!

I hurriedly went to the bathroom after eating.

"Di mo man lang niligpit pinagkainan mo ha!" my mom exclaimed outside.

"ililigpit ko yan, wait lang po." i said and went outside with the towel and hurriedly ran upstairs.

I immediately grab my ironed uniform and fixed my things and went downstairs.

Pagkatapos ko ligpitin ang pinagkainan ko nagpaalam na ako kay mama.

I'm running at the hallway when i bumped into someone's back.

The guy looked at me, "Iyah, are you okay?" He said and helped me stand up.

"Y-yeah.. I'm sorry, Jared, late na kasi ako eh. Sorry ah!" i said as i stood up and run again.

"Dahan dahan lang, Iyah. Baka madapa ka ulit." he added but i just continue to run until i reach my classroom.

I stopped in front of the classroom panting and catching my breath.

As i was about to enter the room someone called my name.

"Are you alright? Why are you panting?" i looked at the red haired girl still panting.

"ah, ano kasi late na ako." i explained while still panting.

"what? But your just right on time." Mikhail said.

"huh? Eh 5:35 na nga kanina pag tingin ko eh" i said looking confused.

"no, it's just 5:23 Iyah." i looked at my watch and it is 5:23am.

Huh? Paano nangyari 'yon? Baka namalikmata lang ako kanina.

"a-ah oo nga, haha! Baka may hangover lang ako kanina." i said trying to laugh it off.

She just nod and opened the door and went in first.

Nakakahiya ka talaga, Iyah. Pang ilan mo na 'to! Haystt!

I went to my seat and looked for Sam but she's nowhere to be found.

Minute passed she finally entered the classroom.

"Ba't ang tagal mo?" i asked as she came closer to her seat.

"Ate Iyah, Ano oras na kasi ako nagising, may hangover pa nga yata ako." she explained and fixed herself.

"Yan, inom pa." i said teasing her.

"Hindi na ako iinom" she said.

"weh?" i teased her more.

"ate Iyah naman eh!" she said and pushed me lightly.
