The band's journey to London was filled with animated chatter, but Christine couldn't shake her concern for Jenn. Sitting beside Stevie, their conversation flowing effortlessly, Christine's attention kept drifting to Jenn, who appeared unusually pale and distant across the aisle. Sensing something amiss, Christine waited for the right moment to check on her assistant.

When Stevie paused in her storytelling, Christine gently excused herself and made her way over to Jenn. Sitting down beside her, Christine placed a comforting hand on Jenn's shoulder and asked in her soft, motherly tone, "Jenn, my dear, how are you feeling? You seem a bit off today."

Jenn looked up, managing a faint smile. "I'm okay, Christine. Just a bit tired, I think."

Christine nodded, her concern evident as she gently touched Jenn's forehead with the back of her hand. "Alright, sweetheart. No fever, but do take it easy, alright?" Her voice was filled with warmth and care, reflecting her maternal instincts that always looked out for her bandmates.

Jenn smiled gratefully, understanding Christine's concern. "Thank you, Christine. I appreciate your concern."

Christine squeezed Jenn's shoulder gently, her voice tender. "Please rest if you need to. We want you feeling your best."

With a nod of reassurance, Jenn resumed her tasks, and Christine returned to Stevie, though her thoughts lingered on Jenn, silently hoping she would recover quickly.

As the journey continued, the bus gradually quieted down as everyone settled in for sleep. However, Christine found herself unable to rest, her mind preoccupied with worry and prayers for Jenn's well-being. Restlessly, she tossed and turned, her thoughts drifting back to her assistant.

In the quiet of the early morning, Christine stirred from her half-sleep, noticing a faint glow emanating from Jenn's direction. Curious and concerned, Christine got up and quietly approached Jenn.

"Jenn, dear, are you alright?" Christine whispered softly, sitting down beside her.

Startled, Jenn looked up, surprised by Christine's presence. "Oh, Christine," she murmured, "just a bit of a headache. I was looking for some pain relief."

Christine's heart went out to Jenn, her nurturing instincts guiding her actions. "If you can't find yours, I have some in my bag, dear," she said immediately, reaching into her purse. "I always carry a little extra for emergencies like this."

Jenn smiled warmly, touched by Christine's caring gesture as she retrieved the pain medicine. "Thank you, Christine. You're so thoughtful."

Christine smiled back, her love for her bandmates shining through. "Of course, Jenn. We take care of each other."

Jenn nodded, feeling reassured by Christine's gentle presence. "I know, Christine. Your care means a lot."

Christine's smile widened, her heart swelling with affection for Jenn. "Alright, but promise me you'll take it easy today," she insisted gently. "Rest is just as important as any medicine."

Jenn nodded again, comforted by Christine's motherly concern. "I promise, Christine. Thank you."

Christine gave Jenn's arm a final reassuring squeeze before returning to her seat. As she settled back in beside Stevie, she couldn't help but reflect on the bond they shared. "Stevie," Christine said softly, "I hope Jenn feels better soon. She's like family to us."

Stevie nodded knowingly, understanding Christine's deep care for their assistant. "She will, Christine. You always know how to take care of us."

Christine smiled gratefully at Stevie's words, her heart lighter knowing her bandmates appreciated her. "Thank you, Stevie. We're in this together."
