He stood, and the maid's face was down. Her hand, which was gently holding his pants, as if it were a lifeline, was waved away as he turned around.

He heard the maid's cry from behind his back, but he didn't bother looking back.

Said Carcel, looking at the man in prison with his limbs bound.

"I will interrogate him myself."

"This is dangerous ."

"Do I look like someone who can't take care of these people?"

"No, I'll open it right away."

The knight who was guarding the prison opened the door and removed the mask that prevents the man from committing suicide.

Carcel extended his right hand towards him. The knight quickly realized the meaning of the order and handed the sword to him.

Carcel slowly approached the man with the sword. The man whose eyes were gently covered felt movement and turned around. There was a loud movement and the sound of chains shaking.

Carcel touched his leg with his foot.

"Who ordered you to do this?"

"I can't tell you, kill me instead."

"You are begging for help."

Carcel raised a well-sharpened sword and thrust it into his thigh. The man could barely contain his moaning clenching his teeth.

But when Carcel moved the engraved sword back and forth, he couldn't take it any longer and let out a painful shriek.

"Uh!"

"Who is it?"

"I can't say, ahhh!"

Carcel pulled out the sword, this time thrusting it into his other thigh. At first glance, he could see a black pattern through the torn pants.

Carcel lifted a piece of his pants slightly with the tip of his sword.

Pattern symbolizing poisonous lavender like flowers.

It was a pattern that Carcel was familiar with.

"Theros."

"Heck."

It was one of the largest mercenary guilds in the capital.

"Were they training assassins, not mercenaries?"

"Sir, here it is."

Celine who followed up, offered him something. There was a bracelet studded with magic stones.

"I found this in the maid's room, it looks like a magic communication bracelet."

"Now tell Sir Anderson to go to Theros."

"Yes sir."

Celine answered but did not leave immediately.

"Do you have anything else to say?"

"Yes, how do I amend my mistake?"

She asked nervously, like a deer that was raising its neck before a wolf. However, the answer that came out was so trivial that she got nervous.

"You should pay more attention to escorting Miss Lannia."

Carcel, who had said that word, handed the bloodstained sword to the knight behind and left.

'Won't he talk about what I did wrong?'

Celine, who was staring at the back of Carcel who had clearly left, came to her senses and immediately ran to Sir Anderson.
