You Need To Calm Down

Rory therapist Mrs.Holland understood her like no one else. Rory came into her office crying Mrs.Holland closes her labtop ready to listen to the girl " what's going on lorelia" Lorelia shakes her head "Coach Elliot told me to take a break for two days because I'm going to get burned out I don't want to take a break I've been feeling so good lately and I don't want that to end"

Mrs.Holland realizes the only person who can calm her down without volleyball is a girl she met at UConn " Have you talked to the girl from UConn recently" Rory shakes her head " No I left her and she doesn't want to talk to me I'm pretty sure she blocked me"

Mrs.Holland frowns " well when you were talking to me it seemed she was very important to you" Rory nods " She is but I don't want to start anything with her when I'm going to have to go across the country"

Mrs.Holland smiles " honey you can't be afraid of love if she truly loves you I think she'll be open to long distance so my question is why aren't you okay with long distance" Rory frowns " I guess I'm scared that the person will cheat on my so I have trust issue"

Mrs.Holland nods " so why are you really upset this has nothing to do with what coach Elliot said and you know it" Rory shakes her head " Without volleyball what am I at UConn doing photography for the girls basketball team felt like my purpose but I don't have one anymore" Mrs.Holland smiles " honey he's only asking you to take a two day break so your prepared for the season and aren't worn out coaches know what's best most of the time"

Mrs. Holland laughs " when you go to Connecticut this weekend I want you to talk to Morgan and not leave without explanation you say you love her but your leaving her you don't do that to the person you love you are making her hate you call one of her friends right now go ahead" Rory picks up her phone and calls KK " hey girly poo" Rory frowns " are you with Morgan or any of the team right now"

KK smiles " yes I'm with the whole team right now but you're in my AirPods" Rory nods her head " uhm I've realized that I haven't been fair to any of you guys and you deserve an explanation and I'd really like it if Morgan could hear me out if she's not open to it thats fine I'm willing to wait"

KK raises her eyebrow " what happened to after I finish college" Rory puts her head in her hands " Ive had a change in mind I guess I mean there are certain reasons I had that mind set but I'm willing to get over my feelings for hers"

KK nods " when are you coming to ct" Rory laughs " I'll be there Saturday" KK frowns " what about volleyball" Rory smiles " funny that you say that I'm basically grounded from playing this weekend coach said I'm going to burn myself out before the season starts"

KK laughs " so your working to hard" Rory smiles " basically but I have to go because I'm at therapy and I need to finish my session" KK nods " you do therapy like a counselor"

Rory smiles " yes no one's perfect and I have a lot of flaws I need to work on but see ya Saturday" KK waves goodbye. Little did Rory know she was on speaker and the whole UConn team could hear her...
