How You Get The Girl

All of the UConn Women basketball players meet in the gym for their annual summer meeting.

Geno made his way to the center of the gym
"Good morning everyone I want to introduce you all to Hyacinth Swift who will be the photographer for us this season"

Hyacinth then waved with a smile " Hey guys my name's hyacinth I'm a sophomore here at UConn " Geno then smiled and asked if anyone had any questions Kk smiles and raises her hand kk then giggles " are you single ?" Hyacinth smiles and says " yes I am " the whole team starts laughing at the question.

Geno shakes his head at KK antics
" I expect you all to treat her like a team mate" everyone says "yes coach "

Hyacinth goes and sits on the bleachers getting her camera ready. While Geno tells the girl to get on the line and do 15 suicides.

During the practice Hyacinth got lots of good pictures but one girl caught her eye when she was tying her shoe she decided to take a picture.

She couldn't help but admire the picture of the girl even though she had no idea who she was
Geno gave the girls a 5 minute break
Morgan walks up to the girl " did you get any good pictures of me ?" Hyacinth nodded not being able to speak with the lump in her throat.

She hands her the camera to look three it until geno yells that there break is over Morgan smiles " thank you so much they look really good" Hyacinth just smiles back

As soon as the brunette walked away she realized she didn't say anything to the girl. Her faced turning red because of the embarrassment

Time skip

" Since practice is over we need to stalk that girl she is to fine to be single smh" kk said while smiling
Paige gives kk a side eye  " why don't you just go ask her she's right there?"
Kk shakes her head " nah that's not my style" " I can ask her for you " Morgan says while laughing.
" Your the best Morgan me and Paige will stand behind you while you ask her"
" I didn't agree to this " Paige says laughing
" Just come on " kk says annoyed

Hyacinth look up from her camera and sees three girls walking up to her
" Hey Hyacinth I wanted to know if you could give us your number and Instagram so we can meet up outside of practice since we'll be spending so much time together" Hyacinth looks at Morgan very shocked  "Sure let me see your phone " Hyacinth says while looking Morgan in the eyes.
Morgan laughs and gives Hyacinth her phone.
" alright so I'll catch you later " Morgan says with a grin on her face. Hyacinth nods and walks out of the gym.

Kk paige and Morgan were walking back to the locker room
" Your such a flirt Morgan " Paige says while laughing " Morgan Paige isn't lying where did you learn that I need a few lessons" Morgan laughs while taking her shoes off " there's no lesson you just don't got it like me " Kk and Paige are hurt by the freshman's words. " there's no way you just said that"Paige says mugging Morgan.

Hyacinth Dorm
" Lily your not going to believe what happened to me today" Hyacinth says while jumping up and down in their apartment
" ugh you finally talked to your siblings ?"
Hyacinth gives her a glare and says " No I met this girl at the basketball practice and she's so fine " Lilly looks around for a camera " are you so serious or is this a prank..HYACINTH ARE YOU FINALLY GOING TO START DATING AGAIN? "
Hyacinth laughs and shakes her head at her friend's excitement " I don't know maybe "
Lily looks at her " what's her name " Hyacinth smiles and says " Her name is Morgan"
Lily smiles " I have to meet her did you get her number ?" Hyacinth nods and lily screams " OMG this is actually happening " Lily looks at the clock and sighs " I'm sorry Hyacinth I have to get to class but we're gonna talk about everything once I get back" " okay see you later " Hyacinth says while laughing

Hyacinth was very hungry but knew her roommate wouldn't be back until 9 or 10pm. Her phone started ringing she looked to see who it was and sighed once she saw it the last person she wanted to hear from her mom. She declined the call and made reservations to have dinner around 6pm.

Hyacinth loved spending time by herself whether that was self care, editing or eating dinner by herself.
Hyacinth wasn't in the mood to dress up so she decided to wear a pink 2 piece work out set and a white shirt.

Time skip 6:45pm

UConn's girl basketball team walks into the restaurant excited to eat after a long day
The waitress comes up to the group and seats them at a table. Aubrey  turns her head and sees a familiar girl sitting alone " Guys isn't that Hyacinth?"

Morgan being one of the first people to turn around sees the girl alone eating and quickly gets sad for the girl " can we ask her to sit with us her sitting alone is very sad to see especially since we know her" Morgan   stated she was about to get up and ask her to sit with them when a guy sat across from her.

Hyacinth looked annoyed as soon as he sat. Morgan's heart sank knowing that wasn't her. The UConn girls started listening to their conversations

" Hyacinth why haven't you been returning my calls" hyacinth shakes her head " I told you I want nothing to do with you anymore " the mystery guy shakes his head " you can't just leave my life when you feel like it. We had a amazing future ahead of us if you didn't make the decision to randomly leave"
hyacinth eyes start to water " I don't have to explain anything to you I owe you nothing " mystery guy shakes his head " that's the thing you do owe me an explanation the whole world is wondering what happened to you " hyacinth laughs " that's not my problem anymore and better question here is how did you know I was here "

mystery guy looks at hyacinth " you don't think you can hide from me right ?" Hyacinth looks away to see UConn women basketball team. Morgan and Paige got up and went over to the table

" Hey hyacinth " Morgan says with pain in her voice Hyacinth looks at them and shakes her head says " what are you guys doing here
" we're just checking on you it seemed like this guy was giving you a hard time " Hyacinth laughs " He is actually he won't leave me alone " Paige looks at him and says " I think you should leave"

mystery guy shakes his head and whispers in her ear " You can't hide forever Hyacinth " He then walks out of the restaurant. Paige looks at hyacinth " do you want to sit with us " she shakes her head and says " I don't want to be a burden"

Morgan shakes her head " you can never be a burden come on " hyacinth gives up " okay okay I'm coming"

After getting settled at the table the UConn girls start asking the girl questions since they don't know much about her
Kk then ask " So was that whole situation about"
Everyone else was also eager to know  hyacinth looks down "he's my ex boyfriend who won't let me go" Ashlynn then says " you don't have to talk about it if your not comfortable " Hyacinth smiles and says " thank you maybe another time" Paige then asks " are you related to Taylor swift ?

Hyacinth laughs " She's my cousin we look nothing alike but our dads are like twins" everyone's jaw drop Kk then says " I thought it was just a coincidence but I guess not" Morgan then ask " Do you have any siblings " Hyacinth face drops " No I'm a only child I'm sorry I have to go it was really nice hanging out with you guys hopefully we can do it again soon" Everyone then says bye to the girl not understanding why she was in such a rush to leave.

Okay guys so lmk if I'm writing good or not and if you could give me tips that would be amazing.
I added mystery in this but it'll make more sense once I write more. Also lmk if hyacinth being related to Taylor makes sense there like 1 cousins but lmk if I should erase that or keep it I'm open to all ideas you have !!!
