The bitter coldness

Brian and you arrived at Jarilo vi.

While you were absolutely freezing from the cold, you were wondering what was up with the odd name. Never mind that, you felt like your toes were gonna fall off. Brian pulled out the map and looked over at you as you could see her visibly shaking from the cold.

"I th-think we're in the Outlying Snow Plains." She said, waddling over to you while pointing at the map. "Haha, y-yeah." The two of you were wearing warm clothes, but this place was still way too cold.

"Let's go, and try not to get into any trouble. I'd rather not take out my sword right now." You said, and she nodded.

The two of you tried to walk as fast as you could, following the map, though the layout was a bit confusing. Then, you saw something up ahead. "Hold on, is that...a person?" You muttered. Brian looked up and squinted her eyes. "I...think?"

The two of you continued to walk ahead to get a closer look. It sure was, though you were a bit confused with his clothing. How was he not freezing in that? And why is his hair like that? Though you did appreciate the styling of it. That'd be hard to draw. All those layers and swooshes, jeez. (Speaking from personal experience)

Though the man seemed kind of odd, and you noticed he left no footprints behind in the snow, you didn't really care though, you were way too cold to worry about that. Besides, you could protect yourselves if anything happened.

You tapped the man's shoulder and he turned around. "E-excuse me? Are you from here? We really need a guide." You said, and then nervously laughed noticing how menacing he seemed to you. He looked between the both of you and then smiled. "Well of course! Sam- Ahem! Mr Cold Feet loves to help people in the cold!"

You were a little weirded out by the man, and wondering why he covered up his name. But you decided to just ignore that. "O-ok! Well thank you sir!" "Oh well what nice manners." He said, then he looked over to your friend. You looked back at her and noticed how she looked frozen. You quickly put your arm around her and said, "Ha, uh she didn't bring such a fuzzy coat." You said.

The man looked at what you were wearing, and blushed a bit. Perhaps because a bit of your chest was exposed, but that's just because you liked your body and didn't really care. "Well, let me lead you two ladies to some warmer climates." He said while smiling. You nodded thanking him and he just waved a hand at you.

As the two of you followed, your arm still around your friend trying to help her stay warm enough, the man talked about some random crap. He talked about "invisible snow-walking" and his "business", which sounded pretty suspicious. When he noticed that too he shut himself up. What an...odd, mysterious man. You thought to yourself, and chuckled a bit.

"Oh, I should probably tell you about the Silvermane guards too." Huh?  "Um, if there's guards shouldn't you have said that earlier?" You questioned. "Oh, uh yeah, whatever. Anyways they're the guards of this place, well obviously, but I'd just try to avoid them if I were you."

I think I need a little bit more information than that. Also, I feel like I should talk to them, not avoid them. Oh well, it might be better to talk to a shop owner or citizen first. You shrugged away your thoughts and continued to follow the man.

You soon made it. "Well, here we are!" He exclaimed.
