An Unknown Warmth ... y/n(fem) x Gepard Landau

We're ready!

"Alright, back to it. So, you said you wanted to join my band?"  

"Yes!" You and your friend exclaim. "Haha! I like the enthusiasm! Alright, let me tell you what our band is so far. I'm lead singer and electric guitarist, my younger sister, Lynx, is keyboard, and my friend Pela plays the drums. Because of...some complications, we don't really have a bass guitarist. I've also really been needing some background vocals other than Pela and sister, so you two would really help. Last thing, I've been wanting to do a duet with someone, so it'd be nice if either of you would want to do that." 

You and your friend look at each other, both thinking of all the information she had given you. The two of you played a lot of instruments, and were really good at singing, so really you two could fit for anything. 

"Hmm, I could be the bass guitarist." Your friend said. You nodded, and then looked to Serval. "I could do duets with you, I'm just not sure what instrument I'd play." You looked down in thought. "Oh! Having you as a guitarist for layered background effect with mine could really help enhance our music!" "Ok, great!" We have instruments of our own, so you don't have to worry about that." You said.

"Ok, well we need to meet somewhere so I can see how your vocals and playing are. And by the way, we're called Mechanical Fever!" "Oooo." Your friend and you say together. Serval blushes a bit from your friend and your amazement, then continues. "Pela and Lynx will be there also. So let me give you a map and mark where we'll meet." 

She gave you the map, it had clear instructions, but let's be honest, you're not the best with maps, so in the back of your head you knew you'd be asking Sampo- ahem, Mr Cold Feet, for help. As long as he's not busy with one of his "jobs". 

The two of you thanked Serval, you really wanted to go over the counter and hug her (you're a hugger), but knew that would be a bit weird, so you left Neverwinter, excited to go to the place Serval had given you to show off your skills. 

"Hey, who are you calling?" You friend asked as you clicked something on your phone and brought it up to your ear. "Wouldn't you like to know~" You said playfully. She grabbed it out of your hand and scoffed. "Ugh, not this Mr Cold Feet guy again." "Come on, you know we're not good with maps." You said, as the phone continued to ring. What is he doing? "Couldn't we have tried befor-" "Hellooo~ Sa-AHEM-Sandar Landar here!" 

You looked at your friend confused, while trying to hold in a laugh. You grabbed the phone back and talked to "Sandar Landar". "I thought you were Mr Cold Feet?" You asked. You could tell he recognized your voice from a small gasp, then he started the flattery. "Ah! My beautiful client! My real name is Sampo, just call me that!" "Yeah, Gepard told me, Sampo Koski. Anyways, I was wondering if you could help me-" "Well of coarse! Anything for you Miss Y/n!" "Ah, yeah, we need you to help us get somewhere. I'm not the best with maps..." "Oh, well that seems simple, surprisingly, I won't even make you pay!" You looked a little confused while glancing over to your friend who just shook her head while sighing. "Um, ok, thank you! I'll-" "I know where you are, not to worry~." "Wait what!?" 

He had hung up on you after that. Erm, he's kind of scaring me now. You thought to yourself. "What?" Your friend asked gently. "Uh, the guy's a bit weird, that's all! I texted him where we're at, heheh." "Hah, yeah, you don't have to tell me twice. Oh, that was quick." You turned around to see him smiling and waving at you. You took a deep breath. Here we go.

You smiled back at him as he came over, while your friend was in the background with her arms crossed and looking everywhere but him, you could see she really didn't like the guy. "Ah, there are the ladies! What a pleasure it is to see you again." You giggled. This man truly is a charmer, he can even make a girl like you who doesn't like him to start giggling and wanting him to continue complementing you. 

You liked Gepard too much though, so you couldn't be fooled that far. He put out his hand, and you looked at him with a 'are you serious?' face. He then winked at you with a smile, and you just rolled your eyes placing your hand in his. He kissed your knuckles while you looked at him a little surprised, then you made a little giggle, saying "Oh stop you!" playfully at him.

The two of you sure would be a riot if you were to hang out with each other any more than this. He took your map from your other hand, gazed over it, and nodded, stuffing the map in one of his pockets at his butt. Lol.

"Come along ladies!" He said while turning around.

AN: I'm a major Sampo simp, he is husband, but this is about Gepard, so he's just gonna be Y/n's bestie, deal with it. Lol sorry
