It's the first day back to school after the short break, and to Elysian's surprise, he wasn't really happy about it. He usually was looking forward to being back at school and hanging out with everyone, but now he feels like he won't have as much time to talk with Thomas as before.

They got close during the few days they spent talking, spent being a reasonable word for the fact that they spoke for about 8 hours a day. And knowing that he had to take care of his sister during the break, Elysian was happy that the boy would spend almost all of his free time talking with him.

On the other hand, when El wasn't talking with the boy, he'd usually daydream or read. He didn't want to talk to anyone about the boy he met online, not yet. He felt like if he shared any news with anyone, any chances he got would be blown away.

i hate the first day so much

The first thing Elysian did once he finished his shower was to check the phone for any notifications. He knew that Thomas was not a morning person, so he always let him text first in the morning, not wanting to wake him up.

He zoomed out, thinking about how he'd miss talking to the boy all day.

changed schools ;(

He tried not to dream, but he imagined how nice it would be if they'd go to the same school. But he realized that they both agreed not to meet for a while. At least they are living in the same city.

It's Elysian's turn to blush. They don't usually use any heart emojis, but he loved it. The boy texted a quick bye and hurried to get ready and get something to eat on his way to school.

He hated that he had to take the bus to school. He usually got there in 10 minutes by foot, but since his mother decided it was best for him to switch schools, he had to change so many things. First, he had to leave his friend, Meraki, alone with the others, and he hated that he could no longer quit school to take care of Pen.

His mother assured him that it won't be a big deal since she could manage on her own, but he felt bad. He didn't want to leave his mother on her own with his sister. She was usually calm, but if her mood changed, she could be a danger if not watched properly or if you don't pay attention to her.

Alexis knew that the new school was big, very big, and that many rich people went there. He felt small

He saw a white car parking and a red-haired girl and a blonde one heading to it. His heart skipped a beat when he saw the blond boy that got out of the car. It was him. Of course it was. How it never crossed Alexis' mind that the online boy went to his school was a mystery. He hid quickly behind some wall and walked towards the school entrance before he saw him too.
