YN's POV.
I walked down the street with my girl, Jenn, Tata, and KR. We had just gone to the stu to record for a little bit then went to get sum to eat, now we was on the way back to my apartment to chill.
"Yoo I ain't gone lie, that might be our best song." TaTa said, sliding his hood off his head.
Me & KR nodded in agreement, but Jenn didn't react.
I looked at her, grabbing her hand.
She took her hand back, without saying a word.
The boys noticed and KR shot me a look.
"Yo Jenn you okay?" KR asked, slapping his hand on her shoulder.
Jenn was never quiet , unless she was mad or worried about sum. So sum had to be up.
Jenn looked at me, then at KR , then behind us. As if she was looking for something.
"Yea im coolin, my fault." She said nonchalantly, grabbing my hand to make up for earlier.
She prolly just tired.. I thought.
We all just kept walking and talking about the song.. we was trying to come up with a good name since we didn't know what to name it yet.
"It need to be sum w a meaning." Jenn said, shaking her head.
"Duh Jenn." KR replied, causing us all to laugh.
We was about to turn the corner when we heard somebody behind us.
"Yo! 41!"
We turned around to see a group of people, all in ski mask. Before we had time to react, gunshots went off.
Jenn grabbed me and pushed me behind the wall.
"Stay here mama. If sum happens. Run. I love you" She whispered, before kissing my forehead then reaching in her pocket for the knock.
Kyle and Tata where already shooting , and Jenn joined along.
This happened every once in a while, so I wasn't scared. But for some reason, this time I had a bad feeling.
I turned my head the opposite direction, making sure nobody was gonna come from the side.
Then, I heard it.
A bullet ripping through skin, and somebody hitting the floor.
The gunshots went off about two more time before you could hear the other group of people run away, yelling.
I turned back to see Kyle and Tata hunched over something.. no.. somebody, and that somebody was Jenn.
My heart broke into a million pieces as I rushed over to my girlfriend.
"Move. MOVE!!!" I yelled at Tata and KR.
They both looked at eachother , before they moved out my way, allowing me to kneel down next to Jenn.
I looked at her, her eyes were watering and I looked down to see a bullet wound right above her hip.
She made eye contact with me, barely pushing thru.
"Y/N..."
"Baby shhhh. Shh y-y-you gone be okay. I promise love bug I promise." I whispered, my voice cracking as I began to choke on my own tears.
I heard sirens in the background as Jenn grabbed my hand.
"I love... I love you mama. Don't forget that, don't forget me."
I broke down in tears , and put my free hand on her face, sliding my thumb over her cheek.
"Ian neva gone forget you. I couldn't. You the love of my life. I love you so much Jennifer."
"Nah m-mamas.. You was the love of my life.. Ian gone be here to be yours."
My whole body shook as I placed a kiss on her lips, for what could've been the last time, while shaking my head no.
Jenn smiled a weak smile, before closing her eyes.
"No. No. Jenn baby cmon stay with me. Don't leave me." I begged, shaking her slightly.
"JENN. JENN ." I sobbed, now
my tears leaked onto her blood stained shirt.
A pair of strong arms pulled me up, and I couldn't even fight back as my whole body felt numb.
I looked at the girl I love so so much, lay there on the ground. Lifeless.
I screamed and screamed as paramedics and police officers rushed to the scene.
Before they could see us, KR picked me up and started running , Tata behind us.
I looked at KR as I rested my head on his chest, still balling my eyes out.
He was crying too.
This can't be real.

6 Days Later.
11:02 AM...
Y/N's apartment.
I looked in the mirror. I had on a black dress that I had originally wore for Jenn & I's first real date.
My eyes began to water, but I blinked back the tears as my bedroom door opened.
KR walked in, wearing an all black suit.
"You ready for this mh?" He asked.. his voice sounding more emotionless than normal.
I shook my head, looking down at the ground.
KR held his hand out and I took it.
I wasn't ready. I don't think anybody was. It was Jenn's funeral.
However.
It was also the day before we launched our song.
We finally got a name for tha single.
"LLJ."
