So um I wrote this on a random history lesson I'm fine i swear :x
I glanced around, eyes wide in surprise, as she slipped. In a pool of her own blood.
Then another fell down, eyes rolled up
Then another, neck bent in an awkward angle
Then another, voice raspy, begging for mercy
I watched, face neutral, heart beating.
Ba-dum.
Each beat meant one more second i was alive.
Ba-dum.
Ba-dum.
I was still alive.
Another fell, scream cut off as she collided with the floor.
Then another, glasses askew
Then another, her usually graceful body thumping on the ground gracelessly.
Ba-dum.
Ba-dum.
Ba-dum.
As I watched, warm bodies fell against the cold stone floor
Voices cut off. Always too loud. Now they were gone. I could almost hear the silence, loud and clear.
Ba-dum.
Ba-dum.
Ba-dum.
Ba-dum.
An edge of red caught my eye. I looked down to see my pristine white uniform, splashed with a rich, dark red
My hands, stained with the same red.
My shoes are standing in a puddle of red.
And that red was blood.
And my hands were full of it.

"Oi, wake up." A sharp voice woke me. Oh. I must have fallen asleep.
I looked at my hands.
Still red.
Ba-dum.
Ba-dum.
Ba-dum.
Ba-dum.
Ba-dum.
