Lilly's pov
1997

Im sitting in my chair next to rose who is making a bowel of some sort as our granddaughters are making us some tea I smile at rose then look back at my drawing that I was doing.

Then I hear somthing about the titanic I look up and look at the tv and go near it and see a drawing of me I gasp and cover my mouth "Nan wants going on" my granddaughter may asked me "that's me in that drawing dear" I say to her and she looks at me like I'm crazy "rose come have a look at this" I say to her and she comes over and gasps "that's that's you" she says to me and i nodded "we need to call them" I say to my granddaughter may and roses granddaughter Lizzy

After we called them they asked me and rose to come to the ship where they found the drawing we agreed and started packing.

After packing all our stuff rose insisted on bringing her dog and all her pictures.

Once we got to the helicopter may helped me get in and I sat down and I thought about jack and my father. After a while we finally got there and landed on the boat.

"Hi Mrs smith and Mrs Calvert I'm brock Lovett welcome to the keldysh ok let's get you guys in side" Mr Lovett said to us and I shake his hand and we started walking inside to our rooms after I settled in my room I walked to roses and sit on the chair in her room then there was a knock "yes" rose said ask Mr Lovett and a nother guy comes in

"Are your staterooms all right"Mr Lovett asked us and I smiled at him "oh yes very nice"I say to him and look at what my granddaughter was doing she was currently helping rose with her pictures "have you met my granddaughter Lizzy and Lilly's granddaughter may they take care of us" rose says to the boys "we met just a few minutes ago remember nana up on deck" Lizzy asked/ says to rose "oh yes" she says and points to her head "I have to have my picture when I travel" rose says and I roll my eyes playfully and may laughed a little but tryed to cover it with a cough.

"Can I get you anything is there anything you'd like" Mr Lovett asked and I stand up "yes I would like to see my drawing" I say to him and he nods and we walk out and may follows me.

Once we get there I look at the drawing and then close my eyes and I see him jack the love of my life then I open my eyes and look at the picture more "Louis XVI wore a fabulous stone that was called the blue diamond of the crown which disappeared in 1792 about the same time Louis lost everything from the neck up" brock said and I just kept on looking at the drawing and looked at the necklace that rose let me wear just the one time for the drawing

"The theory goes that the crown diamond was chopped too recut into a heart- like shape that became known as the heart of the ocean" brock continues on and I roll my eyes that's all everyone wants now a days.

"Today it would be worth more than the hope diamond" he finishes I roll my eyes "it was a dreadful heaving necklace I only wore it once" I say to him and he smiles and may looks at me "are you sure this is you nan" may asked and I looked at her "of course it me may wasn't I a dish" I asked her playfully and looked back to Mr Lovett.

Mr Lovett laughs a little "I tracked it down through the insurance records and in claim that was settled under terms of absolute secrecy" brock says to me and I smirk a little so he could not see

"Can you tell me who the claimant was Lilly" brock asked me and I thinked for a minute

"I should imagine someone named hockley" I say to me and he smiles "Nathan hockley that's right" he says to me then continues on "the claim was for a diamond necklace his son caledon bought for his fiancée" he says and I nodded "yes that was roses fiancée but we lossed that thing years ago" I say to him and he nods

"So the diamond had to have gone down with the ship" he says and I rolled my eyes knowing rose still had the thing just never brought it out she misses cal so much since his passing they only had 2 kids together before he shot himself then she moved on and found someone else.

"See the date of the drawing" Mr Lovett said to may and me and may looked at it
"April 14 1912" may says and the other guy speaks up "that means if your grandmother is who she says she is she was wearing the diamond the day the titanic sank" the guy says as rose came in with Lizzy

"And that make you two my new best friends" brock said to me and rose and I rolled my eyes again

"These are some of the things we recovered from your staterooms" he says and I go over to my stuff I picked up my hair brush then put it down then I saw a ring the ring that jack made for me I picked it up and looked at it when no one was looking I put it in my jacket pocket.

I walked over to rose who was holding her mirror "this was mine how extraordinary it looks the same the last time I saw it the reflection has changed a bit" she says and sets it down.

"Are you two ready to go back to titanic" brock asked and I looked at rose then brock and I nodded yes

"Ok here we go she hits the berg on the starborad side right she kinda bumps along punching holes like Morse code" Lewis I found out his name was and he made some beep sounds I roll my eyes and go off into my own world till I Hurd rose speak up "thank you for that fine forensic analysis Mr bodline" rose says to Lewis then I speak up.

"Of course the experience of it was somewhat different" I say to them and Mr Lovett speaks up "will you share it with us" he asked me and I smiled a little then rose looked at the cameras and gasped "I'm taking her to rest" Lizzy said "no" rose said quietly "come on nana" she says to her "no" rose raised her voice a little for her to hear

"Give me the tape recorder" Mr Lovett said to some guy and he passed it to him "tell us Lilly and rose" brock asked us and I looked down "it's been 84 years" I say to them "it's ok just try to remember anything anything at all" Mr Lovett says to me then rose cut in "do you wanna hear this or not Mr Lovett" she asked him and he nodded.

"It's been 84 years and I can still smell the fresh paint the china had never been used the sheets had never been slept in" I start then rose spoke up "titanic was called the ship of dreams" rose said "and it was it really was"I finished and may smiled a little
