ESTHERS POV

The wedding planning was going well and mitch had decided he wanted to wear a grey suit, with a white shirt and a matching chartruse tie. this looked fabulous on mitch as the shade of grey really brought out the color of his eyes. He had been annoyed during the meeting and he couldn't settle. "hey, whats up with you, youre acting strange?""oh, its nothing. i just dont like to leave scott alone in case he leaves me,""Scott would never do that, he was the one to propose in the first place. it seems like you dont trust him, and you know what they say, trust is key in a relationship.""I know, I know. its just i love him to much for anything to happen, and dont you remember what happend with travis. I thought we were in a great relationship, but then he just leaves me!"Travis was mitchs ex boyfriend, they were in a very serious relationship - they even wore matching promise rings, and pretended they were married - and then one day it just all went wrong. I'm not even sure what happend, mitch refuses to talk to anyone about it. Travis started throwing abuse at mitch on twitter about his body (a very sensitive topic for mitch, even though he was perfectly healthy and not at all overweight) which deply saddened mitch, and then mitch started a new gluten free diet and no matter what anyone said we could not stop him."Yeah, i guess, but I know scott would never do that to you."

SCOTTS POV

Mitch had been gone a while, i was getting a bit worried. He had told me he was just going to pick up some milk from the convinience store. That was an hou ago. All of a sudden i heard a key in the door. Finally, mitchie was home."hey there beautiful" said a familiar voice"Alex?!? What did you just call me?" i said with disbelief in my voice"Beautiful, like you are." he said cockily"I've been with Mitch for three years, we are getting married in a few months, remember?""Yes, of course i remember. It haunts my every living hour." i saw an evil glint in his eyes, no way was he trying to make me leave Mitch for him. i mean he was my best friend, and i loved him. But not in a relationship way, in a friend way."What's up, cat caught your tongue," He said patronizingly "You know, and I know that you don't belong with Mitch," he continued. "You belong with me and we both know it.""Look Alex I think you have this messed up, we are just friends, and i suggest you leave right now before you make this anymore awkward for either of us,""Fine, I'll leave now. But I'll be back, and i will have you for myself."He stormed off in a huff and let me alone shell-shocked in my own apartment.
