-Chapter 2-

Haruka age 7, me age 9, Soichiro age 12.

We became friends with Haruka when we saw her and the director sparing those holographic images of kaijus, my brother and I couldn't take our eyes off of them sparing, it's like witnessing a show. Our dad came here for business talk while me and my brother decided to explore the place and soon stumbled upon them.

But they soon stopped and saw the director smiled and chuckled softly as his body turned towards our direction.

"I think we have an audience my sakura"

"Hmm?" She turned to us, my brother paid respects bowing down to the director as me, I was just staring at her, as she did the same to me, she had a poker face but panting heavily while gripping her wooden sword. Her hair was a dark deep orange color, and her eyes were ocean blue, her skin was tan in color, she looks like a foreigner. I've never seen anyone quite like her. "Pretty" I whispered to myself.

"Ah it's Hoshina's kids, I see, boys? Wanna join us?"

"Woah really?! Can we join next time?"

I got snapped back to reality as my brother patted me on my back as he jogs towards to her and her father, I stuttered a bit before saying "wait for me!"

That day was a core memory, the entire time playing with her and even teaching me how to hold the bow and aim properly, she was so close to my face, I couldn't help but turn red.

"Hey listen dummy" she said plainly cold as she lightly slapped my shoulder as I shakes my head and tried focusing at the targets. "After this one, try aiming quickly for moving targets"

"Wah? There's so way I can do that!"

"Yes you can, how old are you?"

"9"

"I'm 7, you have to be better than me since you're older"

She said to me confidently as I opened my eyes and saw she had a slight small smile plastered on her lips. My blush roamed down to my neck, as wind gushes through from the air conditioning of this room, I got shivers down my spine as I cleared my throat.

As I badly aimed at the wrong spots of the targets, the moving ones began charging forward at me, I panicked a little but soon hit one of them at the desired target. While I braced myself for the others, but before they could make contact with me, all the holographic kaijus disappeared.
