Dear Diary,

I cannot believe she agreed to give me a chance!

I'm still dazed, and honestly, I don't think I'm getting over this anytime soon.

She agreed to give ME a chance, I thought I was dreaming for a good while.

It still feels so surreal.

" WHEN DID YOU ASK HER OUT? WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?" Abhay, Ishan, Jugnu, Agni, Kunwar and Samrat screeched in an accord.

" Ek minute ek minute? You really asked her out?" Virat and Rohit's voice echoed in synchrony over the line as they looked at him incredulously.

Shubman nodded his head with a sigh.

The two exchanged frantic glances.

" Does Sachin Paaji know?" They asked, again in sync.

" Huh?"

" Does Sachin Paaji know you asked his daughter out?"

Shubman gulped, suddenly realising out of the blue that he'd fallen for no other girl, but his own idol's daughter.

" Tu toh chhupa rustom nikla Gill! Jinhe idolize karta hai unhi ka daamad banne chala. Nice transition." Ishan nodded.

" Kishan sahab, yeh line purani ho gayi hai. Jab inn dono ke rumours aaye they pehli baar, tab inhi ke fan accounts ne yeh sab likha tha, aap kuch naya dhund lijiye."

" Kya Cheeku Bhaiya, ek baar keliye toh bolne dete!"

Virat chuckled.

" You didn't tell us Shubi, does Sachin Paaji know?" Rohit asked again.

" I...I don't know."

" Hey Bhagwan! You're not even aware if he knows?"

" No..."

Rohit and Virat sighed.

" Kake....you need to ask the Father first if you're allowed to date his daughter."

" Arey par he's still courting her no? So let him inform later."

" Hey don't make him pull a Rohit Sharma! You asked Rits out and Yuvi Bhai found out AFTER you started dating her. You hear me? After you started dating her! Ritika toh phir bhi rakhi behen thi. Sara asli beti hai unki gadhe!"

" Oh Haa...Mai bhool gaya." Rohit chuckled awkwardly and Virat shook his head at his best-friend's forgetful nature.

" Wait wait wait! So Bhaiyas...what do you suggest should I do?"

" Talk to Sara first!" Jugnu chimed.
" I'm sorry I'm interuppting, but ask Sara if Sachin sir knows, and if he doesn't, discuss it with her how you intend on telling him."
