No one can say Idalin isn't friendly. The opposite actually, she was like an angel. It's not to say she was 100% an angel, because she's not. But she had more in common with the "Hero" group of the school, rather than the "Villain" group. It's also not to say she was the kind to avoid her more darker humored classmates, she didn't.
In fact, she had some friends who were... "villains" as others would refer to them as. Take for instance, the son of Idalin's father's enemy. Despite their parents' rivalry, she and Morgie le Fey were, at least, on civil terms. There was not a lot of there there in Morgie, and Idalin often tutors him when asked. Despite who Morgie hangs out with, he keeps his social life separate when with Idalin. And that's exactly what they were doing now as she helped him write his paper for history.
"I don't wanna do this anymore, please don't make me." Morgie whines and bangs his head against the wooden table. By the third banging, instead of meeting the hard wood, it was a soft hand. Idalin had placed her hand under his forehead to stop his self inflicted harm.
"You're almost finished Morgie. You are one paragraph away from turning in the paper and it's due tomorrow." Idalin encourages. Morgie only pouts.
"But I'm hungry! And we've been at this for hours, Ida..."
"It's only been an hour, love." Idalin corrects. Morgie only whines louder and receives some annoyed stares from other tables.
"I have an idea!" Morgie proclaims raising his head up with a grin on his face. "You finish the paper for me."
"No."
"But you said it was just a paragraph left—"
"No.
"But you—"
"No, Morgie. Your paper, your problem." Idalin went make to her own paper, ignoring the little mumbling that Morgie made which kinda sounded like an "I hate you". After about five minutes of pouting and realizing that he wasn't gonna get his way , he picked up his pencil and started up on final paragraph. Idalin hid her smirk and continued her on work.
An hour later, Morgie huffs and slams his pencil on the table to announce he's finished. Idalin looked up from her finishing alchemy paper and smiled. Morgie only frowned and crossed his arms. He gave a glare at the always smiling girl.
"I'm proud of you Morgie." Her words cracked Morgie's glares and frown. His face heated up a bit, not use to hearing such words from... well, anyone. He uncrossed his arms and planted them on the table to rest his chin on them.
"I'm still hungry. Can we go get lunch now?" He pouts again. Idalin took a moment to consider before shutting her book closed and stacking them together.
"I suppose you've earn it." Morgie cheered as they packed up their belongings and headed out the library. Since it was after classes the cafeteria was fairly crowded but neither minded. Morgie grab himself a try and passed one to Idalin before piling his own with an sorts of goodies, occasionally shoving some food in his mouth to sustain him. Idalin grabbed a slice of pizza and a juice and waited til Morgie was finished.
He hummed happily as they sat at an empty space. Morgie dug into his food, particularly the brownies, and grins at Idalin.
"Those are so good." Morgie comments chewing on his sweet treats. Idalin covers herself mouth to hide the smile.
"You shouldn't talk with your mouth full." Idalin says which Morgie answers by chewing louder and opening his mouth wide. She throws a napkin at his face making him laugh. "That's gross!"
Morgie's laughs quickly dies down when he looks over Idalin's shoulder. Slowly she looks back to see Bridget making her way over with a bright smile and a plate of muffins. "Hi Linny!"
"Hi Bri. Whatcha got for me to try this time?" Idalin teases. Bridget grin's happy and shows off the plate.
"Raspberry and white chocolate muffins topped with cinnamon crumble." She presented proudly
"Yummy-- do I have to worry if these will bite me too?" She asks reminding of the terrible gingerbread men incident two months ago. She reaches out for the muffin and puts it on her plate.
"No, silly. Never using that book again..." Bridget mutters. "Just flour, eggs, and lots of sugar."
Idalin nods and takes a bite out of the muffin. To say it was delicious was an understatement and Idalin gives her friend a thumbs up, to occupied with the muffin to speak.
Bridget took it as a good sign and looks to a scary looking Morgie. She smiles nevertheless.
"Would you like a muffin?" Bridget offers sweetly. Morgie hisses and eyes turn serpent like, scaring Bridget back. Idalin gives Morgie a look and swallows the food in her mouth. She looks at her pink haired friend and gives her an apologetic smile.
"Ignore him, he's just hungry and tired." Bridget nods at her friend's explaining.
"I should go anyways. I promised Ella I would study with her for the history of Avalon test on Monday." Bridget says.
"I'll meet you both after then. We can have a movie night tonight and binge on any leftover cupcakes."
"You have yourself a deal." Bridget winks and waves goodbye, even to Morgie who was still glaring at her. Once Bridget was gone, Idalin turned her head quickly at Morgie and threw the muffin wrapper at him.
"That was incredibly rude of you, Morgie! She was just trying to be nice." hisses Idalin. Morgie crosses his arms and looks down at his tray.
"Uliana doesn't like her, hates her even. Can't be seen being friendly with her. And you shouldn't either or Uliana will make you a target just by associate." Morgie explains defending his actions. Idalin frowns at the sound of Uliana's name. She seems to have it out for Bridget, this bothered Idalin and she does her best at defending for pink friend at all costs.
"I really don't care what Uliana thinks. Bridget is my friend-- one of my best friends actually. Uliana doesn't scare me."
"Is that so?" A voice purred.
