The weekend arrived and Idalin made her way to Bridget's room with a bag full of snacks. This was their weekly date where Bridget, Ella, and herself would spend Saturday nights together. It was Bridget's turn to choose the activity, picking a movie night/slumber party. She already knew what the plan would be; painting nails, horror movie, and baking a treat. She was no less excited.

"Hey Ida~" A male's voice calls breaking her out of her thoughts. Idalin turn to find Kiran and his, Chris, whom people call him 'Charming' not because it's his last name but because he is sooo charming.

"Kiran, Chris. What's up?" She greets the brothers as they arrived to stand next to her..

"On our way to grab a bite to eat, wanna join?" Kiran offers. Idalin smiles and shakes her head.

"Can't, I'm meeting up with Ella and Bridget and we're having a movie date night--No, you can't come with." Idalin replies as Kiran opened his mouth to ask. He instead pouts,

"Come on, Ida! It's not like we'll disrupt the peace!" He complained. Chris covers the laugh he tries to keep in with a cough.

"Chris won't, he's a gentleman." Idalin comments. "You, however, will."

"That's not true. I'm an angel!"

"What about that time you dumped a raw fish in my backpack?"

"Or released all those piglets on Family Day last year--"

"Or when you took all of my shoes and hide them in the stables where the horse went and chewed at them--"

"Or maybe that--"

"Alright okay I get it! Gosh you always wanna gang up on me." Kiran mutters and turns red in embarrassment. Idalin holds back a laugh.

"We just call it like it is. If you want we can hang out tomorrow. I'm sure Bridget and Ella would happily come with." Idalin says and strains on Ella's name for Chris to smile like a fool and blush lightly. Kiran say the red face of his brother and grins teasingly.

"Ooooo Christopher and Ella sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G~" Kiran sang and made kissy noises to annoy his brother. It earned him a smack in the head.

"You're one to talk." Chris fires back.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"You know..."

"Ohh, does Prince Kiran finally have someone he likes." Idalin teases, making her friend blush as his brother did.

"NO! Don't listen to him!"

"Come on Kiran. I promise I won't tease you about it." Idalin pleads.

"It's no one."

"At least tell me what she's like?" Idalin asks, not believing Kiran's denial.

"No!" Kiran says, but curses himself when he sees Idalin's smile at the fact her confirmed the truth.

"Don't matter, I'll get it out of you one way or another."

"And how will you do that?" Kiran asks with a cross of his arms

"I'm your best friend, dufus. I know you about as well as you know yourself. And you'll probably tell me about her one day. And when you do, I'll help you to get her to go on a date with you because, no offense here Kie, but you're not as charming as your brother."

"I'm plenty charming!" Kiran exclaimed with offense in his tone.

"Of course you are." Idalin says softly as if explaining something to a small child. "Enjoy your food, boys, while I and the girls will be binge on movies and popcorn."

Idalin rushes away with a wave of her hand. Kiran and Chris stared after her before Kiran looks at his brother and punches his shoulders

"OWW-- What was that for?!"

"Why would you mention that to Idalin?"

"Come on Kie! You've been silently pining over her for well over a year now. It's about time you man up and ask her out."

"Sure, I'll do that. Right after you ask Ella out." Kiran says before smacking his brother upside the head and taking off. Chris shouts and runs after him.

Idalin knocked on Bridget's door three times and waits. She didn't wait that long for Bridget to open up with a smile on her face.

"Hey!" Bridget exclaimed and pulls Idalin inside. Idalin drops the bag on the floor and crashes onto one of the beanbags.

"What should we do first? Paint nails? Girl talk? Maybe we can go crazy and dye my hair." Idalin says. Bridget joins her on one of the other beanbags, laying on her stomach.

"I was thinking we go to the kitchens and make s'mores." Bridget suggests with excitement.

"I like the way you think, Bee. What time does Ella get here? Should we wait for her before going?"

"She... told me she couldn't make it tonight."

"What-- why?"

"She didn't say much, just that her stepmother expected her home."

"That sucks. I brought her favorite ice cream and everything." Idalin then dug through her bag and pulled out three small pints of ice cream and packed them away in Bridget's mini fridge her kept in her room. "I'm sure she can met up with us tomorrow. I made plans with Kiran for tomorrow for the five of us, if that's alright. We can go grab takeout and eat at the park."

"I would love that! I can make brownies for it too. Peanut butter brownies!" Bridget plans as she bounces in her spot with excitement. She then stops bouncing and looks in confusion. "Wait-- five?"

"Christopher too." Bridget says nothing and covers her mouth.

"Ella's gonna be so embarrassed tomorrow if you don't tell her first." She chirps.

"Embarrassed, but not mad." Idalin teases, making Bridget giggle. "Now, let's go make those s'more!"

Bridget claps happily and gets off her beanbag. They left the room happily with arms locked together.
