It's been 5 days since the start-of-the-term feast and so far, so good. The students treat me with respect and kindness. This place has been nothing but welcoming since my stay here. Well...except maybe for the slytherins.

There was that Malfoy boy who liked playing pranks and looking down on his fellow students. Not even teachers get past his games. I'm only lucky because I'm new so he doesn't get to pick on me yet but I'm sure that'll change soon enough.  Ugh, typical slytherin.

Other than that, It's been a pretty good week. I've made a few student-friendships throughout the course. As well as established civil connections with the other professors. Of course with the exception of the potion master.

Speaking of which, we haven't had the chance to talk face to face ever since that encounter of us in the headmaster's office. I don't know if it's by coincidence or I just happen to have great luck to be able to avoid such a disastrous fate.

I've also been tagging along during Remus's classes. Taking notes and making my own lesson plan for the following week. Him and Minerva are the two most trustworthy people in my life right now. I see the goodness in them. Those two are truly one of a kind.

It's the start of the first weekend today, which means my first official teaching session will happen on monday...2 days from now. I'm so excited yet nervous about it.

Remus keeps on encouraging me since last night. We've been hanging out together after classes, sometimes with Minerva and he's just the best. I feel strangely comforted and attached whenever I'm with him. It's odd...because for some reasons I feel like we've been together for a long time when really it's only been just a week since we got to know each other.

I can't help it but whenever I'm looking at him, Dumbledore's words kept circling on my head.

"I suggest you get to know him further until he's comfortable enough to let him tell you what you want to know."

"Earth to (Y/N)!" Remus snaps his fingers in front of my face, breaking my train of thoughts. We're in the library and he's helping me make my future lesson plans.

"Oh! Sorry, what were you saying?"

"You've been zoning out quite frequently today, Care to tell me what's on your mind?"

I shook my head, laughing off his words.

"Nothing, really. Guess I'm just nervous for monday." I reason out.

"If you say so. Though If I count correctly, It's been more than 50 times I've told you that you really have nothing to worry about including last night." He jokes which make me snort.

"You're exaggerating! I think it's somewhere in 30." I joke back which made us both laugh.

"Something funny?" A sudden deep and familiar voice appeared behind me. For a moment I saw Remus's face drops when he saw who it was but he quickly snaps it out.

"Severus! What can we do for you?" Remus asks with a small smile on his face. At the same time, I turned my face around from my chair and unexpectedly, our eyes met yet again.

His eyes were as cold as that night though not as harsh. We held eyes for a moment before he reverts his attention to the man in front of me.

"It may have escape your notice but you are in a library where there are students who are actually doing something important. You may want to take the frivolling someplace else." He says, his tone of voice with an unexplainable edge on it.

By the looks of it, it seemed like he was telling those words more to Remus rather than to me. Then again, who does he think he is?

"That's our business." I snap in a low voice.
