Summary: After a few years, Nueng calls for you.
It had been a drunken mistake that turned to two then three until you were unable to keep count. Mistakes that you've never been able to get over and it haunted your dreams. You never meant to take advantage of Song's sister after her passing but Nueng had insisted. The two of you used each other for sex to help you deal with your grief. You both knew it wasn't healthy and it would only lead for more pain as you grew closer but Nueng didn't care. Everytime you tried to talk to her about what was going on, she would shut you up with a kiss and distract you with her fingers. Each time you would promise yourself to force her to talk, Nueng always managed to distract you. You knew if Song was still alive and she had learned about what the two of you were doing, she would disapprove of what was going on. Wanting to save each other from further pain, you took the difficult decision to leave the city. The last time that you had been with Nueng, you had made sure to pour your heart and soul into every kiss. You weren't sure if Nueng was aware of it being the last time but you were relieved when she didn't say anything before pulling you into her arms and falling asleep. You didn't bother to wait till morning, once you knew she had fallen asleep, you were careful to untangle yourself from her and hurried to leave her apartment.
Nueng had attempted to contact you hundreds of times, calling and texting but you never picked up or answer her messages. It killed you to hear and see the heartbreak in her voicemails and messages but you stayed strong. Eventually they dwindled down until she just stopped contacting you. The day you didn't receive a single thing from her, you broke down, realizing that you had truly lost her. You had wanted for it to happen, you just didn't think it would hurt this much.

Nueng froze when she heard Anueng talk about how she had forgotten their dinner plans. Traumatized by what had happened with you, she had assumed the worst. Fearing that Anueng was going to leave her too, Nueng acted before she was made to look like a fool again. As she scrolled through her contacts for a certain someone, her mind was screaming for her to stop but she refused to listen. Pressing your contact, she hopes you pick up. She wasn't doing this in hopes to reconcile with you, she just wanted to hurt Anueng as much as she had hurt her.

You nearly drop your phone when you look down and see Nueng's name pop up on your phone. After months of no contact, you never expected for her to contact you again. Nueng was a ghost from your past and you weren't sure if it was a good idea to reopen old wounds. The phone continued to ring and just before it stopped, you answered. You were a masochist for answering.
"Nueng....""Have dinner with me?"
"What?"
The last thing you had expected to hear from her was to invite you for dinner. You must've taken long to answer as you hear her call your attention.
"(Y/n), are you there?"
Snapping out of your trance, you hurry to nod before realizing she wouldn't be able to see you.
"Yeah....yeah. I can hear you. Nueng, are you sure that's a good idea? I mean...."
"I'm not forcing you to join me for dinner. I just thought that enough time has passed and I wanted to catch up."
There was something off about Nueng's tone but you couldn't quite place it. It saddened you that you were unable to know how she felt after how close the two of you had gotten. Curious to know what had suddenly brought up the dinner invitation, you decided to agree. It wasn't at all because you hoped things would turn out to be better.
"Okay. I'll join you for dinner. When did you want to meet up?"
"Are you free now? How about in an hour? Can you pick me up?"
