Summary: Your hairdresser ruins your hair.
Faye was just finishing her meal when she gets a call from her receptionist for the salon. Knowing that she never calls for anything while she's in lunch unless it's an emergency, Faye knew it was important. Upon answering, she's immediately greeted by the sounds of someone loudly in the background. It hurts her ears so she pulls her phone away for a second to get used to the noise before putting it back to her ear.
"What's going on? Is everything okay?"
"I'm sorry P'Faye! I just didn't know what to do. This woman arrived crying and we've been unable to console her or find out what's going on but we think it's something to do with her hair because all she does is point at it.....by the looks of it, I can understand why she's in tears."
"I'm on my way. I don't think I have any clients for another hour or so, right?"
"No, miss."
"Perfect. I'll come in and see what's going on then take it from there. Try to give her some water and let her know we'll do what we can to help."
"Thank you, miss! I'll get on that right away. Drive safe!"
Hanging up, Faye pays for her food and hurries back to her salon. She's no stranger to bad haircuts but she was curious to find out just how bad it was to have someone inconsolable.

Just a few steps out the door, Faye could hear the loud sobs from inside. She walks in to see her receptionist and another hairstylist attending to the woman who she assumes the call was about. Faye relieves them, letting them know she'll call for them if she needed anything. Alone with the woman, Faye attempts to comfort her.
"S...she did this on purpose! I know she did! She made me u..ugly!"
"That's not true....."
Faye freezes as the woman's tears subside for just a moment to glare at her. The woman's eyes narrow while she points to the hair and then runs her fingers through them.
"Just look at me! It's too short! The color is all wrong!"
She should've denied everything the woman was saying but Faye could barely get a word out. The woman was gorgeous. A bad haircut had nothing on her beauty. However, her silence tells the woman otherwise and the cries start again. This snaps Faye out of her trance and she places a comforting hand on the woman's back, rubbing her hand up and down.
"Those are all things you can easily fix. Miss....." She trails off for the woman to give her name. Through tears, the woman replies with a quiet (y/n) that it took Faye a second to realize what she had said. "Miss (y/n), you're gorgeous. A bad haircut didn't take away any of your beauty. I'm pretty sure you could even wear a sack of potato's and you'll still look gorgeous. Now let me tell my receptionist to clear my day and we'll get started right away." Faye grabs a tissue from a nearby box and wipes away the tears from the women's cheeks. "Take a second to catch your breath and I'll be right back."
Faye hurries to the back, needing some distance between the two of you. She needed to get herself together to be able to fix what the other hairstylist had done. It was miracle she hadn't done anything foolish other than the earlier hiccup that managed to make you cry again. She could do this, she's been around plenty of gorgeous women where she was always able to keep her cool.

As Faye worked to fix what she could about your hair, the two of you shared stories. You told her about how your ex-girlfriend had been cheating on you with your hairstylist and you didn't know until she was yelling at you about how your ex-girlfriend deserved better and so on. You had stopped caring, instead choosing to focus on the fact that your hair was now ruined to not breakdown in the middle of the salon. It wasn't until you got to Faye's salon that everything had caught up and you broke down. You were embarrassed about what had happened and immediately apologized to Faye about just barging in and making her cancel on her appointments as well as the crying in the lobby.
