"So it's done, finally is it over now." Y/n asked her lawyer as they sat in his office for what felt like the hundredth time.

(Does that look right hundredth.. it don't to me 😭)

"Yes Ms. L/n the case has finally been closed. There will be no trial and his family has finally backed off." He spoke looking over all the files.

It had been a stressful experience to say the least and he had felt especially remorseful of y/n and all that she's felt with.

He was an alpha himself and having to relay the details of the stalking and attack on her was making his skin crawl.

Then to have his family defend him and blame Y/n like it was her fault for being an omega and luring him to act the way he did.

His mother especially an omega herself said that she used her distasteful scent to make her son act out of his normal self and then killed him unprovoked.

It was disgusting and appalling to have witness by someone who knows what it's like to be targeted as an omega.

"I'm sorry it took this long when it was supposed to be an easy shut and close case." He ducked his head feeling more and more sorry. "You did everything you could, you were great and you can't control how othersact or be. You did great by me and I'm sure if my alphas were here right now they'd tell you that. I'm actually glad they weren't. If they knew the stuff that was said sometimes I don't think anyone could hold them back." She chuckled bowing towards him in thanks.

"Oh I don't doubt that. I appreciate it miss, I hope you never have to go through this again." He smiled softly walking her out the door.

She thanked him again and continued to her car. Suho standing by the car. He didn't think he'd be allowed to watch over her anymore.

After all that happened he was sure he'd loose his job but she fought for him.

She had stated she didn't want anyone else by her side except him.

It had warmed his heart immensely that she had still trusted him even though he had failed to protect her like he promised.

In his eyes he had failed her and believed he deserved the backlash he got from the managers. The boys didn't go as bad as they did though. They had known he did everything he could.

And having her stick for him proved their point even more.

If she was okay with him then they were too.
