Did I lie?
Sighing at the many times,
you recount every new rhyme.
Did you ever cry?
Remembering every night,
you did me wrong.
Laying here tonight,
holding on to every false promise
and every tear shed for you.
Was it all a lie?
When we held hands at the town park,
and the many words intertwined to my shattered heart.
Shades of blue that will bring me back to you.
