It was unusual for Mingyu to be depressed, he was a very sensitive person, but he had a natural talent for looking at the positive side of things.

So the moment Mingyu stopped being Mingyu, a blaring alarm went off in his friends' heads.

They took him everywhere, and when I say everywhere, I really, really mean it.

They had taken him to the bowling alley, to the movies, to eat pizza and ice cream countless times, shopping at all the existing shopping centers in the city. Even to a pedicure center. And no, it is not an exaggeration. Desperate situations call for desperate measures.

But nothing had worked.

"Let's go to the party tonight dude, I'm sure it will cheer you up. You need to go out, meet people, get fresh air."

Chan said, talking to the mountain of blankets that was Mingyu right now. Mingyu wanted to tell them that he had had enough fresh air to for the whole entire semester and that the thought of going to a party right now made him want to curl up in a ball and cry more than he already did. But he just stayed in silence, he didn't had the energy to say no anyways, and he was pretty sure that Wonwoo would be here at night, so the more he could avoid him the better.

As expected, Mingyu's mind had been the closest these days, not to a roller coaster, but to a complete amusement park, to which he had a VIP ticket. First, he had gotten a boyfriend he really loved and cared about, then he had called him by his best friend's name while they were in a certainly compromising situation, and obviously he had broke with him. And if it weren't already humiliating enough that your partner breaks up with you for moaning your best friend's name, you can't even face yourself for being so disgusting to think of someone who is like you brother in that way. He hadn't had the stomach to see him face to face since that day, a thousand thoughts about Wonwoo had appeared in his head without permission, and he hated himself for each and every one of them.

God, if Wonwoo only knew, he would never forgive him.

So here Mingyu was, letting himself be swept away by his friends and collective chaos.

Joshua Hong was a madman at the wheel.

After countless turns in which Wonwoo thought the car would crash, more than one attempt to unintentionally run through red lights, an not stoping at a stop sign which had led to a twenty minute argument with an unpleasant older gentleman, finally they had reached a straight road, alive and kicking.

"You won't have enough life to thank me for this." wonwoo said, eyes closed and holding onto the door handle, prepared to throw it wide open if necessary, to throw up. Or jump out of the car.

"You are the best, man" Joshua laughted at his own joke before even telling it, talking between chuckles "You are gonna be the best man." He looked at the other boy smiling, hitting him jockinly with a hand that he should have in the wheel "Best man. You get it? Best man."

Wonwoo made a sound between a sigh and a scream. "If you mention you are gonna to get married with whoever again, i swear to God im jumping out the car."

Joshua laughed, really enjoying the atmosphere, nothing could take his smile away today "Come on, you have to support me if you are gonna be the best man, its part of the work. What do you have against romance and happy people, huh?"

Wonwoo deflated in the seat, trying to release the anxiety that Joshua's driving skills had inflicted on his system. "Nothing. Everything I have is against you. Have you even ever talked with them before?"
