Summer arrived soon.

And with it Wonwoo's birthday.

"I'm telling you I don't know what to gift him."

Chan rolled his eyes for the thousandth time. "Man, he is your damn boyfriend, not mine, how am i supposed to know?"

"Shh. Let me be, I don't know why I brought you, I should have brought Soonyoung instead." Mingyu ran his hands through his hair, tucking it under his sunglasses.

Chan made an exaggerated offended expression "May I remember you what he bought for Jihoon last christmas?"

The boy chuckled at the memory of Jihoon face after opening a pack of animal print boxers. "Do you think he ever got to wear them?"

Looking at each other, they broke in laughter.

Better to live with the doubt.

Mingyu had always complained that the city mall was too small and he could never find anything he wanted, but now it seemed like an immense labyrinth of of coat racks and price tags.

Chan went from one book to another, checking title by title whether or not they were on the list that Mingyu had secretly made with all the books Wonwoo already owned or had read. A tedious job that took weeks.

After the third shelf the boy's were convinced that he must have bought all the books in the city.

"I give up, " Mingyu said, starting to feel a headache "This is impossible."

Chan didn't made an objection. "Why don't we buy him some clothes?"

"Jeonghan already did." True, Jeonghan had practically used his last salary to give Wonwoo a wardrobe renovation.

"Any videogame? I remember he told me about the zombie's one."

Mingyu shook his head "I think Seokmin told me that he and Joshua already bought it."

Oh yeah, Seokmin, I may have skipped a few chapters.

They are in good terms now, good enough to say that Mingyu is his friend and not his exboyfriend when he talks about him, which it's actually a huge advance considering that at other times in his life he would have preferred to be ran over by a bus multiple times rather than spending more that two minutes in the same space as Mingyu.

Undoubtedly, they have come a long way.

Honorable mention to Joshua, without whom all this would have been impossible. Mostly because he refused to let his only two social circles be separated from each other, even if these circles were made up of Wonwoo and Seungkwan, and just Seokmin. And it was well known that Mingyu came in a pack with Wonwoo.

So I guess the forced proximity paid off again.

Talking about news, perhaps I should also mention that Mingyu and Cheol are now conjoined twins. How did that happen? I can't even explain it myself.

When all the Mingyu and Wonwoo drama happened, and the whole forgotten phone thing, Jeonghan and Cheol decided to wait a couple of hours to give them some time to resolve whatever was going on, and then discreetly showed up at the residence under the pretext of giving Wonwoo his phone back.
