The journey continued in silence. Taeyang had fallen asleep, Joshua was busy on his phone, and Aylin was focused on driving. Lina, however, was restless, typing something on her phone. She sent a message to Song: "For God sake answer my messages."
But, like many of her other messages, this one was also ignored.
"I told you not to make her so strong that she doesn't need you anymore. Look, today she managed this entire prank without needing you. She's learning to live without you,"
Lina thought to herself but didn't send a message.
Taeyang woke up and asked, "We haven't arrived yet? Miss Aylin, you drive very slowly; let me take over," he said, as he began adjusting the camera in front of him.
"No, I can't risk my car. You can sleep a bit longer; I'll wake you when we arrive," Aylin responded calmly.
Taeyang shrugged and sat back. "As you wish."
Then, he noticed Lina. "Flower lady, what's your name?"
Lina turned to look at him. "My name is Lina."
"Linaaaa... What does that mean?" Taeyang asked.Lina just glared at him. "Are you my friend?who speaks to me so informally," she muttered, shaking her head.
"Fine, if you won't tell me, I'll look it up," Taeyang said, pulling out his phone to search for the meaning.
Aylin, who outwardly appeared calm and composed as she drove, had a whirlwind of thoughts racing through her mind. She didn't need Song today. The person who always said he would be her strength, regardless of who else was with her, wasn't needed this time.
Aylin couldn't help but remember an incident from a few years ago when she played the same prank on Song. He had been just as frightened as Taeyang was today.
But why had Taeyang been so scared? Suddenly, Aylin recalled how concerned Taeyang had been for her, and it struck her as odd.
"Tender and delicate..." Taeyang's voice brought Aylin back to reality. "Well, it suits you. Remember how you almost fell from a little push the other day?" he teased.
Lina turned red with anger. "Yes, that's why you threw my files that day."
"If you're trying to embarrass me, sorry, I'm not embarrassed," Taeyang said with a mischievous smile.
"Delicate... hmm, it really suits you," Joshua mused, "something fragile and delicate, just like flowers."Lina got red again , but this time not out of anger.
Taeyang had made fun of her name, but Joshua had understood its meaning so well, likening it to flowers. Her eyes fell on the wilted sunflowers in her lap, and her heart sank. She had taken them with such enthusiasm.
"Miss Aylin, now it's your turn let's know the meaning of your name," Taehyung declared, as if determined to uncover the significance behind everyone's name today.
Aylin sighed. "Let's leave it. You and Mr. Joshua can talk among yourselves. We'll get some content for the episode," she said.
"Miss Director you shouldn't always try to direct everything; some things should happen naturally," Taehyung replied, still typing on his phone.
"Hmmmm," Taehyung finally said with a long hum.Joshua, intrigued, asked, "So, what's the meaning of Aylin's name?"
"Moon," Taehyung replied, putting his phone back in his pocket. Joshua seemed delighted; he liked the name's meaning. However, Aylin and Lina remained indifferent, as they already knew what it meant.
"I have to say, whoever named you must have done so after seeing your eyes," Taehyung remarked, looking at Aylin's reflection in the mirror.
Little did he know that Aylin had been named when she was ten years old, not at birth because of her eyes. Lina thought this to herself, amused.
