Aylin was lounging on the sofa, deeply absorbed in her phone, when Mustafa emerged from his room. "Miss Director, aren't you supposed to be at work today?" he teased, glancing at the wall clock that showed 10 o'clock.
Aylin lifted her head to look at the clock and sighed, "He hasn't arrived yet," she muttered, turning her attention back to her phone.
Mustafa, puzzled, asked, "Who are you talking about? Who hasn't arrived?"
"The one who ruined my plans," Aylin grumbled. "I worked overtime last weekend so I could take today off, but thanks to that maniac, I have to be in the office today."
Mustafa laughed and sat down on the sofa beside her. "Who is this person who has managed to irritate my dear sister so much?"
Aylin abruptly stood up, her dark hair falling out of its loose bun and cascading around her face. Frustrated, she reached for a claw clip and secured her hair again. "Some arrogant celebrity," she snapped, tying her hair back. "I have no choice but to direct him."
"You've started directing celebrities now?" Mustafa asked, clearly amused.
"It's complicated bey," Aylin replied, standing up to get ready for work. Her day is already ruined.
Mustafa chuckled and shook his head. He found Aylin's language mix amusing; sometimes she spoke to him in Turkish, calling him "bey," and other times in Urdu, calling him "bhai" or simply "Mustafa." But she never called him "oppa"—that title was reserved for someone else.
As Aylin walked towards her room, Mustafa called after her, "I'll need your car this evening."
"Take it from the office," Aylin replied from the doorway, heading off to get ready.
Aylin was sitting at her desk in the office when her phone rang. It was a call from Mustafa.
"I'm outside your office. Can you come out and give me the keys?" he asked.
Aylin glanced at the conference room, remembering she had to discuss the schedule. Taehyung hadn't arrived yet.
"Okay, wait, I'm coming," Aylin said, ending the call and grabbing her car keys. She headed downstairs where Mustafa was waiting.
Mustafa was dressed in black jeans, a sky blue shirt, and wore sunglasses over his gray eyes, looking ready and waiting for Aylin.
"Oooo, someone is looking handsome today," Aylin said with a smile as she approached him. She was wearing an ivory hijab and ivory pants with a blue shirt. Unintentionally, the siblings had matched their outfits today.
Mustafa smiled and walked towards Aylin. "Looks like someone copied me," he teased.
"Excuse me, I wore this shirt before you," Aylin replied, pretending to be annoyed.
"Okay, okay, I copied you. Just give me the keys, I'm in a hurry," Mustafa conceded.
"Here you go," Aylin said, handing him the keys. Mustafa then handed her a paper bag.
Aylin looked at Mustafa, puzzled. "What's this?"
"It's your favorite bakery's croissants," he said.
"Really!" Aylin said excitedly, taking the bag from him and handing him the keys. She began to take out a croissant. Just then, Mustafa noticed that Aylin's shoelaces were untied. He pocketed the keys and bent down to tie her laces. Aylin wasn't used to tying laces as she usually wore loafers or heels.
Meanwhile, someone in a car was watching the siblings unaware of there relation.
"Is she really unable to tie her own laces?" Taehyung shook his head in disbelief and got out of his car, walking past Aylin without acknowledging her, giving Mustafa a dismissive look as he did so.
