Haerin also stood up and was about to walked closer to her when Danielle lifted her hands, "Stop" she said panic is still clearly evident. Haerin stop on her track. Brows furrowed even more.

She's also almost in the brink of panicking. The thoughts of Danielle realizing she's a monster and running away from her forever is running through her mind. "Dani, can you tell me what's wrong" she asked her calmly.

Danielle still looked panic, "You have enhance senses. You can feel, hear, and see things way better that anyone" she said.

Haerin looked at her in confusion. She thought they had already established that fact.

"That's right. But if you think that I'm using it to take advantage of you or to anyone, I promise you I don't" Haerin promised.

Danielle shook her head, then began pacing back and forth. "That's not the problem, Haerin," she said.

Haerin wanted to hold her and calm her down but was afraid Danielle wouldn't like it, so she stayed standing. "Then can you please tell me what's wrong?" she pleaded.

Danielle stopped pacing and looked at Haerin. "You have enhanced senses. That means you can also smell things better!" Danielle exclaimed.

Haerin was still confused; she didn't see how that could be a problem. Danielle must have seen in Haerin's expression that she didn't understand what she meant.

"That means you could smell me, and I'm almost always very close to you, and sometimes I even hug you when I'm sweaty," Danielle said.

She started completely blubbering things and began pacing back and forth again.

"What if you can smell what I ate for lunch? What if my shampoo isn't as nice as I thought? And, and... what if you can tell when I haven't showered yet because I was too lazy?!" Danielle rambled, her eyes wide with panic.

"What if... what if you can smell my feet after I've been in sneakers all day? Or even when I have a cold and can't smell myself?"

Haerin watched, feeling a mix of amusement and concern as Danielle continued to spiral. "Dani," she finally said softly, trying to interject.

"And you've been in my apartment for countless times already so what if you can smell my dirty laundry? Or my gym clothes? Or even worse, what if you can smell my room? Sometimes it gets a bit stuffy, and I just..." Danielle's voice trailed off as she continued to pace.

"Danielle," Haerin said more firmly, stepping closer but still hesitant to touch her.

"I can't believe I didn't think of this sooner. I mean, what if you can smell my perfume mixing with sweat? Or when I have garlic breath? Or... oh god, what about my morning breath?" Danielle continued, her face growing redder with each word.

"Danielle!" Haerin finally shouted, gently grabbing her by the shoulders to stop her pacing. "I promise, it's not a problem. You always smell fine, I swear"

Danielle stopped, blinking up at Haerin, her cheeks still flushed with embarrassment. But she shake her head again and attempted to distance herself from Haerin still feeling really self-conscious. But Haerin didn't let her this time as she cupped Danielle's face firmly but gently.

"Look at me." Haerin said. Danielle who tried to move away from Haerin but couldn't do so because she's helplessly weaker compared to her just gave up and locked eyes with her.

Haerin had an amused look in her face, "I can't believe you are freaking out over that" she said, her tone still soft. "You don't understand. Haerin I--" Danielle began again, but Haerin cut her off. "No, listen to what I have to say first" she said.
