if there was one thing that haitani ran loved most aside from the life of delinquency that he had buried himself in for who knows how long...

it was l/n y/n.

there is nothing in this world that can stop him from trying to be hers- and he's willing to sacrifice and give up everything and anything if it means that he'll get to hold her hands as they watch the world burn up in flames. the man sees everything as a price to pay just to see her smile even for just a second, and he will give up what he has for it.

he believes that the (h/c) haired woman is worth more than what the gods made her to be, and no amount of fancy jewelry nor branded items are enough to compensate the gift he had received of breathing the same air as her.

ran is undeniably whipped for his wife. if he could, he'd worship the ground she walks on- if he was talented at it, then he would've spent his time carving out statues of her if it means eternalizing the warmth that never goes out in those eyes of her that he loves so much. if money could buy it- then he would've bought out everything that she loves. whether it be the amusement park, or the family marts- hell, even if it's an entire country, he would've bought it for her.

because nobody deserves to have the things that were meant to be hers.

why'd you all think he had acted like a married man for the past three centuries? the man believes that no one is deserving of him unless they're named l/n y/n- and he also believes he's undeserving of her.

y/n is someone meant for the heavens, a beauty that mere mortals cannot comprehend. she has graced the world he's been forced to live in and gave him a reason to live. she gave him a reason to like a certain things, and hold grudges on a few.

ran had learned to hate a few things over the course of his existence. like cherry blossoms that just can't seem to go extinct, or police officers that he was more than happy to kill with his bare hands. his hatred for spring never ceased to change no matter how many times he had to live through the season, would rather spend his days inside his office than to catch a whiff of the sickly sweet smell of the petals that would always stick on his suit.
