THIRD PERSON
the next day hope goes to school and goes straight to class ready for the day to be over.
while her brother was at home said something about going to mikes.
it was the middle of class when someone walks in.
"hope?" the person says and hope looks up
"can you come with me?"
hope grabs her stuff and follows the person where they go to the lunch room.
hope sees two police officers and gets nervous.
"hope? can you just sit here?" the person says pointing to the chair in front of the two men.
"what is this about?" hope asks
"we just want to ask about your friend Barbara holland, your other friend Nancy wheeler called us cause she thinks something happened to Barbara."
"oh ok what do you need to know?"
"were you at Steve Harringtons house with Nancy and barb?"
"no i was doing my homework and didn't feel like going plus its Steve Harrington he's annoying. but Nancy called me first asking if I wanted to come and I said no so she asked barb next."
"oh uh ok did you see barb after that day at school?"
"no I didn't and I started to get worried and started asking Nancy."
"what did Nancy say?"
"she said she thought barb just left before Nancy I guess"
"and one last thing you said Steve Harrington is annoying, what do you mean by that?"
"he's just a douche, he only cares about himself and I keep trying to warn Nancy that something can happen but she doesn't seem listen, barb said the same thing when we talked about them"
"ok I think that's all for now. thank you for your time ms. Henderson"
"of course anything to find barb" hope says getting up and instead of going to class she just leaves and goes home.
hope gets home and decides to call Nancy.
"hello?"
"hey nance! the police was asking me stuff about barb and said you called them?"
"oh yeah im just worried and I wanna find her" Nancy sniffs
"yeah same, wait are you ok?" hope says worried
"oh um yeah! im ok!"
"nance.. I know your not you can talk to me."
"I just-" before Nancy finishes she gasp
"what!? what happen nance you ok!?"
"I um yeah- I um- I found something"
"found what??"
"are you free?"
"um yes?"
"ima come get you" Nancy says and hangs up the phone and hopes just sits there wondering what just happened.
a few mins go by and hope hears a car pull up knowing its nance.
hope walks out and gets in the car
"what's going on!?" hope says getting in
"I just- I dont know! we are going to find Jonathan cause I know he can help"
"help with what!?"
"you'll see!"

nance drives to the funeral home. they step in and see Jonathan. he sees them and goes to them.
"hey" Jonathan says to them
"hey" the girls say at the same time
"your mom said you'll be here" Nancy tells him
"I just- can we talk for a second?"
they all sit down and Nancy shows him the picture of barb sitting by the pool at steves.
"it looks like it could be one kind of perspective distortion, but I wasn't using the wide angle. I dont know" Jonathan says giving the picture back to Nancy
"what the is that" hope asks
"and your sure you didn't see anyone else out there?" Nancy asks Jonathan
"yea, she was there one second then.. um. gone. I figured she bolted"
"the cops think that she just ran away"
"wait what? the cops think barb would just run away?" hope asks
"yeah thats what they said.. but they dont know barb. And I went back to steve's.. and I thought I-- i saw something. some weird man or I dont know what it was" Nancy said sighing
"I- im sorry. I- we shouldn't have come today. im so sorry" Nancy said getting up and so was hope
"wait- what he look like?"
"what?"
"this man you saw in the woods. what'd he look like?"
"I- I dont know. it was like he didn't-"
"didn't have a face?" Jonathan said finishing her sentence
"how did you know that?"

hope, Nancy, and Jonathan go to the school and into the camera room and puts barbs picture in the water waiting for it to show.
"what the fuck is that?" hope asks
"wait thats what I saw"
"my mom.. I thought she was crazy cause she said thats not wills body. that he's alive"
"and if he's alive-"
"then Barbara."
