albussev: hey. my mum is out of town for a quidditch game. my dad is out of town on a case. jamie is at ted's and lily's at roxy's. i have the house to myself. wanna come over?

"Draco, do you know where Cassi is? It's 30 minutes past her curfew, her location is off, and she's not answering my calls or texts." Astoria informed her husband as she entered his office.
"She went to the movies with what's his face." Draco told her as he unlocked his phone. "I can see her location perfectly fine." Draco told her as he clicked on her contact. He instantly recognized the address and locked his phone.
"His name is Cameron. He seems like a nice kid and a much better influence than Albus. Anyway, where is she?" Astoria asked him as she crossed her arms.
"At the movies like I told you. She texted me earlier to let me know that the movie started late and that they were going to that pool party at Roxanne's afterwards. My phone is on silent and I didn't see it until now." Draco explained as he tried his hardest to avoid her gaze.
"So now we're lying to each other. This isn't working. We need actual space, Draco. I've been looking at a few places and I think I found an apartment that I really like and the lease is six months. We need an actual break at this point. If we don't make any progress in the next six months, I want a divorce." Astoria told him. Draco finally looked up at her and nodded.
"Okay. If thats what you really want." Draco simply told her with a shrug.
"I really hope that whatever you're covering up for Cassi is worth it." Astoria told him.
"Believe what you want to believe, Astoria. It's not my fault she doesn't want to go to you for anything. Pretty sure she's still upset about the whole Albus thing." Draco replied nonchalantly as he went back to flipping through the small stack of paperwork.
"Oh please. She's already moved on." Astoria replied, defending herself.
"Because she has no choice but to move on, Astoria. Our parents tried to do the same to us. I don't think Albus is anywhere close to boyfriend material but keeping them apart? They ran away because of it and I still remember how shitty it felt when it was done to us. I can't support you on that choice and I really don't blame her for being upset with you." Draco told her. Astoria rolled her eyes at him.
"Yeah, and maybe if our parents tried a little harder, i'd be with someone who actually makes me happy but here we are." Astoria told him before she could stop herself. Draco nodded as he slipped his wedding ring off his finger and sat it on his desk.
"Yeah, I don't think we need to wait six months. We should just go ahead and get that divorce." He told her. Astoria went to speak but Draco cut her off. "You should go stay at your sister's or something. I really don't want to be around you right now." Draco told her. Astoria sighed and nodded.
"Okay, yeah. I was thinking the same thing." Astoria replied quietly before she left the room.
