*before prologue*
She woke up and looked around her room, colourful with her many painting masterpieces scattered around the walls. Her eyes finally landing on her alarm clock.
8:00, ok not too bad, then Misa looked at the date and her heart fell from her chest to her feet. Monday 1st, school had started again.
She she tried to swallow back the slowly growing lump in her throat as she thought about what that meant. School was her hell. She was one of the smartest kids in the school, which is why she got moved up a grade so she was the the youngest in year 12,
She had no friends. But the worst of them all... actually, never mind ....
Misa looked out her window, she was seventeen and one of the richest girls in America. Not that anyone at school knew that. Her parents were a very successful business couple. Unlike others, Misa enjoyed the serenity of alone time.
Slowly, Misa forced herself out of bed and onto the plush carpet. Grumbling to herself she pushed away all the designer brands and settled for a plain shirt and jeans. Putting a grey beanie over her hair, Misa hid the only thing she was proud of, the only beautiful thing about her. No one was allowed to see her hair, it was the only precious thing to her and she was the only one allowed to enjoy it.
Grabbing her bag Misa swiftly walked to the carport and jumped in her car.
After an agonising ten minutes of driving to hell, she dragged herself out of the piece of junk that never failed to amaze her, when it still managed to move and she started walking.
This is the first day as a senior, I can do this. Misa straightened posture, lifted her head, took a deep, breath; and continued to walk.
Setting her foot through the front gate she let out a breath, she hadn't realised she had been holding. About to walk into school grounds she heard the purr of a very fancy, new and most definitely expensive car.
Turning around, the smile slipped from her face. Starting to back up, Misa pretended she didn't see him and continued walking. She walked up the stairs and headed to her locker. Stuffing her fingers in her pockets she tried to steady her trembling hands. Misa whipped her behind her and tried to locate his wherabouts.
He was a few steps from her. Speeding her pace she started running to her locker. Just before she made it someone banged her into the wall. Looking up she saw him, really close now.
Wimpering, she cast her glance down. Harry looked at her, with a smug grin, he licked his lips. "Hello Misa," she tried to get out of his grip but he was too strong. "How was your holiday?"
She looked down, "Answer me" he taunted, stretching out the 'me'. Licking her dry lips she whispered,"Fine." He smirked again but this time there was something about his eyes that seemed 'off'.
"Good," pushing himself off her; he just walked away. With deep confusion, Misa just stared at his retreating figure as he walked down the hallway.
What just happened?
She started focusing on her locker combination when she heard him shout, "Oh, and Misa?
Brace yourself!"
