I look at the little heathen in front of me, her eyes slightly widened as she spills the biggest secret of my life.

The secret no one is supposed to know.

The secret she's not supposed to know.

I fold my knuckles until they become white.

How the fuck did she know?

My eyes snap from her trembling body to the fucker beside her.

Kira Osborne is the biggest pain in the ass I've known ever since we were small.

She was a fucking snitch, who reported me to my parents for every single thing I did.

My eyes carry all the venom and rage I feel as I stare at her, wishing that she'd disappear after she spilled something she was supposed to take to her grave.

And to the heathen, of all people.

I'm sorry, Kira's face reads but all I see is red.

Red because the images of that night rushes in and consumes my mind, my head spinning and my gaze landing on the ground.

What would I do now?

What if they told everyone else?

I snap at Kira again, walking towards her with calculated steps. Her eyes widen with fear.

Good.

But before I can speak, a trembling voice interrupts me.

"It was me. I digged in."

It was the heathen that speaks, her body language confident but her voice gave away the truth.

She was afrad. As she should be.

"Kira leave," I look at Aria, my eyes trailing her body. She shifted in her place as Kira frantically shook her head.

"It was m-me, I told he-," Kira begins but I cut her off.

"Either you leave or the world knows what you're hiding. I know how to keep promises, unlike some. But you pushed Kira and I will not hesitate to push back."

Kira looks between me and Aria, nods and walks away.

"It was you, you say?" I walk towards her as she stays rooted, her eyes on the ground, something which pissed me the fuck off.

She nods her head as the corner of my lips turns up.

"How?"

I knew that it was not published anywhere. No news channel, no media platform. Nobody knew.

Caspian and Kai had vowed to never speak of it, let alone reveal it to anyone else, especially Aria.

So it was the fucker Kira, who couldn't keep a secret to save her life.
