He's back?

"Your boyfriend has arrived."

   He's back? He really came for me? I rushed out of the bathroom, still sopping wet with water and soap. The first sight I saw was Gru, rushing at me with the most distraught face i'd ever seen. Gru grabbed ahold of my arm and dragged me to my room. I kicked and screamed, trying to get him to release me from his grasp so I could run.

   "Please let me go! Is Vector here? Please!" I begged and squealed against his grip. He looked down at me with unfiltered rage. I wasn't going to escape this house and we both knew it. I heard a yell across the room. I looked up to see Margo being held by Vector, this seeming to make Gru stop in his tracks.

   "A trade, give me back my wife and I will unhand your child." Vector stated with confidence and anger. Gru looked between Margo and I, a blinding rage seeming to build behind his eyes. Gru held me out in arms length as if I were a bug being passed between friends. As my man in orange let go of the young girl, Gru snatched her arm. I made my steps to bolt, however Gru had snatched me back again before I made it very far.

   "No! Let me go! Please!" I reached my hands out to my beloved, though he had just barely missed my hands. I was shoved back into the room and I heard the locks click and knew I was trapped here.

He was so close, yet so far...
