Path to deicide- A Fatal error x Sl4sh story

Chapter 1, a new beginning

this is NOT CANNON, I just saw that there was no fatal x sl4sh stories so I decided to write one, don't take this too seriously, it does have parts that are cannon but it is also just what I think could happen in between songs or if something changed. Thanks for reading and I hope you find it somewhat entertaining!

The red hedgehog known as fatal error had just traversed to a new universe, in hopes of finding someone who'd help him take down X, the original false god. Fatal reached out as if to steal code from those he doesn't care about, but instead fatal uses his powers to figure out if this world had inhabitants, or if it is useless to his cause. After only a few seconds of searching, he could feel small bits of code seeping though his skin. Sencing some powerful being in his presence, he didn't take too much of their code, in case he could convince them to take down X. Instead of searching and taking up time they didnt have, he warped the world to his liking, so he was able to see whoever was there with him. 

Once he got a clear view into the terrain. It was similar to most of the other worlds he had visited in the past. A corrupted version of sonic's green hill. He could see a grey figure standing in the distance. Fatal had seen this man before. This was not Sl4sh's world, nor his. And yet, they had both been here before. Still with his back turned to fatal he spoke. "You do not belong here." Sl4sh said in his dark gravelly voice. "Neither do you" Fatal responded, facing Sl4sh, a few feet away from him, as Sl4sh turned to fatal, seemingly calm with a hint of anger underneath his tone exclaimed "oh? Is it a fight you want?" 

Fatal stared at Sl4sh, reminding himself that he was here to find ally's and not to get new code and inhabitants. "I can assure you, you would not survive that." Sl4sh did not seem too happy about fatals response, but at the same time didn't seem too mad. Not mad enough to break out in a fight at least. Fatal needed him in one piece if he were to help with Fatals cause.

 " Do you mind telling me why we're back at our crossroads?" Sl4sh had genuine question in his voice, and not just sarcasm for once. It was as if he cared. That would be hilarious. "I will explain shortly" fatal took a step closer to Sl4sh, trying to see if Sl4sh would give in easily. He decided to remind him of past encounters, to get him more friendly. "Do you recall how our last meeting went?"

 "Yes." Instead of spending time talking Sl4sh got straight to the point, disappointing Fatal, who thought he would be able to warm him up before talking about the difficult parts "Let me guess. You need me for something."

 Instead of answering his question, or starting a fight, fatal decided to settle it the only other way he knew how. A song. He tried to keep him occupied by continuing their conversation during their battle. "Sl4sh, if i am to uncover data on the one who made us meet, I may learn key details for my search, leading me ever closer to the one i seek, now as the tetrabrachial entities that we are, let us bask in the melodies. Sing with me." 

Fatal let himself flow with the music, even with the upbeat and energizing music they were making, he somehow felt calm and as if he was at peace, while he was searching though Sl4sh for information. 

sl4sh started to get impatient"Fatal. Have you uncovered everything you need?" At the lack of response or even eye contact sl4sh asked in a questioning voice, "...Fatal?"

 Snapping out of his daze Fatal Error responded, "Insufficient. We are not done yet. One. More. Time" 

fatal dived back into song, and into Sl4sh's code navigating though the hidden parts of his mind. Once the song had finished, Sl4sh asked, sounding ad if he was out of breath but trying to hide it, "done. Did this yeild any results?" Fatal stayed silent for a second, prosessing the fact that none of this had been a coincidence, "only confirmation that our convergence was not happenstance. Although I did discover a trail for me to pursue."I see..." Sl4sh said "what now?" "Now? We find more people..."

Honestly if you see this I'm surprised that I've found someone who like this fandom other than the person who brought me into it lol. I'm sorry that it's short, and it might not be great, I'm not too good at writing, plus the only time I write is like 3 in the morning when my meds aren't in effect, so that probably doesn't help.

What I'm trying to say is, if you have any advice I'd gladly take it!
