After a couple of hours, Andrea walked into the room with a smile on her face. "She's breathing, still unconscious though. She has a severe concussion and might be asleep for a couple of days but she'll be okay." Everyone in the room took a deep breath that they didn't even know they were holding but were very relieved at the news. "Can I see her?" Mattheo speaks up, "Of course you can Mattheo." She smiles at him. Let's keep it to now person at a time right now but soon enough you all can go in. She says as she brings Mattheo up a floor and into a room. She has cords going in and out of her and he starts to tear up but pushes them away as he sits in a chair next to her and holds her hand. It's surprisingly cold as Andrea walks toward the heart monitor to make sure she was still okay. "Miss Andrea. I have a quick question." "Yes of course. Anything dear." She says with a smile as she looks up at him. "Is she going to have to go on pain medication after this?" "Yes she will have to, for her head." She says to him with a questioning look. Mattheo nods his head and takes in the information. He doesn't want her back on medication because of the fact that she could get addicted again but he knows that she has to, so that she can get better.

Everyone took their own turn to visit her and after they all did, most of them had left the hospital  because they needed to be back at school so that they could cover for Val while she was gone, but Mattheo decided to stay until she woke up. He hasn't left the room to eat, he hasn't slept at all, he just sat there staring at her unconscious body for days. He texted and called his friends to check up on them and make sure that they were covering for the both of them while they were gone. They had said that the two both had family matters to attend to, which the professors couldn't ask any questions about, so they left it alone.
