(Hey guys and girls, I'm getting confused with Arthur's age since it changes every chapter in the manga and I'm too lazy to read the whole novel. So, for simplicity, Arthur and Sasuke are both six now. And please, don't say this has potential because every time I see one of those comments, I get lazy and end up finishing at chapter 10 like my other fanfics. Oh, and check them out! and what you all think about having two female lead? and not only one?)
As my vision faded and darkness overtook me, I felt myself slipping into unconsciousness. The last thing I heard was my father's panicked voice shouting my name, and then everything went black.
I felt something warm on my eyes and slowly opened them. I tried to sit up, but a sharp pain shot through my whole body. "Ssss," I hissed through gritted teeth. I looked to my right and left, realizing I was in a room.
After a few moments, I saw the door open, and my mother walked in carrying a basket. As soon as she saw me awake, she dropped the basket and shouted, "Rey! Sasuke woke up!" She rushed over to me and enveloped me in a tight hug, her warmth and familiar scent immediately comforting.
Before I could say anything, my father burst into the room as fast as he could, his eyes wide with relief. He joined the embrace, wrapping his arms around both of us. "Sasuke, thank the gods you're awake," he said, his voice trembling with emotion.
My mother's embrace tightened. "You had us so worried," she whispered, her voice thick with tears.
"I... I'm okay," I managed to say, though my body still ached all over. "What happened? Where's Arthur?"
Father's expression darkened momentarily, but he quickly replaced it with a reassuring smile. "We'll find him, Sasuke. Right now, we need to focus on getting you better."
"Dad, I am sorry. I did something... I don't know what happened to me. I suddenly went crazy and everything became red," I tried to explain, searching for an excuse.
My father's face softened, his eyes filled with understanding and concern. "Sasuke, it's okay. You did what you had to do to protect us."
My mother gently cupped my face, her eyes searching mine. "We saw what you did, Sasuke. It was terrifying, but you saved us. You are not a monster. You are our son, and we love you."
I felt tears welling up in my eyes. "I was so scared. I didn't want to hurt anyone, but I couldn't control it." altough what i said was just an excuse the tears were real at first i wanted just to let some out to improve my excuse but i could'nt control it after,
My mother wiped my tears away. "Don't worry about it, Sasuke. As long as you're fine, we don't care about that," she said, giving me a warm smile, though I could see it was a bit stiff.
Father nodded in agreement. "Your mother is right."
Mother kissed my forehead gently. "We'll be there to help you through it. You're not alone, Sasuke. We believe in you."
"Thank you, Mom and Dad," I replied. Despite sometimes finding their emotions overwhelming, I really liked this feeling. It was something I had missed so much in the past.
"Now, sleep. It's been a lot for you," Father said, patting my head. Mother kissed my forehead again. "Your father is right. Rest," she added. After some chatting, they left, closing the door behind them.
I looked at the closed door and sighed. "Really? I cried. It's been a long time since I last cried." I was relieved they believed my excuse. I really didn't want them to find out my secret. The time I spent with them had changed me significantly. In the past, I sought only power and revenge, but now I could finally break free from that curse.
