Hello, I am back with a new book.
Before you start reading, please note the following:
1. Setting: The story is set in a fictional version of India.
2. Characters: Arthit and Kong are in an arranged marriage, set up by their respective families.
Both Arthit and Kong are orignally thai, whose great great grandfather had moved to India, fell in love with local woman and settled in India. They have adopted Indian culture, traditions and food while also preserving some of their own traditions.
A) Arthit
Arthit is the CEO of Rojanapat Industries, and he has a younger brother, Arhan, who is a legitimate pain but dearly loved by Arthit.
A city boy, Arthit is 30 years and 6 months old. Since turning 30, he has felt much older at heart. The loneliness has crept in, and he has devoted himself to work to avoid the melancholic, ever-expanding black hole in his heart.
Old-fashioned about love, Arthit dislikes casual dating and has strong opinions on many subjects, which he is not afraid to express. He doesn't mind an arranged marriage and yearns for a long-lasting and fulfilling relationship. He prefers men, and the only option for him is a male omega. His understanding family has no objections to this.
Confident about his desires from a young age, Arthit has mostly studied abroad, returning to India only four years ago. Consequently, he is a bit out of touch with the real India. His family speaks Tamil, but he only understands it a little, and only when spoken slowly. He is fluent in Hindi and English and has learned a bit of Thai out of curiosity about his ancestral homeland.
Arthit is fond of poems and sher-o-shayari. He loves meat and can eat it at all three meals of the day. He also enjoys trying different cuisines and exploring new high-end restaurants.
His guilty pleasure is dancing, a secret he keeps. He dreams of someday dancing with his significant other and having a great time.
B) Kongpob
Kongpob, a 26-year-old high school science teacher, lives in a village he dearly loves. He is his parents' only biological child and an omega.
Having studied outside his state, Kongpob has friends from all parts of India. He is fluent in Tamil and English and can hold conversations in Hindi, though he wouldn't call himself fluent. An absolute vegetarian, he loves street food and has never felt the need to try cuisines from other countries. He loves his T-shirts, hoodies, jeans, and shorts, as well as Indian attire, which he flaunts at every opportunity. He is not fond of formal wear or suits.
Alpha Varun is Kongpob's confidant and fierce protector. Varun's father was a dear friend of Kongpob's father. After Varun's parents died in an accident, Kongpob's parents adopted and raised him as their own. Varun, ten years older than Kongpob, is married to an omega woman named Maya.
Kongpob dreams of a marriage with a partner who loves him wholeheartedly. He never imagined he would consider an arranged marriage.
