Arthit watched Kong riding his motorcycle, following his car to ice cream parlor. His intended had quite a knack for speed. Should he be prepared to recieve tickets for speeding in future ? Arthit smiled to his own thoughts — he knows it was a 'yes' from his side even if they meet tomorrow again or not.
The way Kong handled Arthit's perfectionist streak and his panic when things were not up to Arthit's standards, his frustration, and regaled him with stories , successfully cheering him up — it wasn't a task for weak willed people. Arthit knows he can be a stubborn prick adamant on his point. And Kong had no problem calling him out on it !
" You are a stubborn ass" Kong had said. He had sincerity , sense of humor and a genuine heart which cares — what more could Arthit want ?
Oh, there will be arguments and fights. Messy , ugly and bloody wars. There is no doubt about that. They both had a strong personality. Kongpob though was an omega— was a pretty strong willed oerson with quite a knack for independence and modern values. And he wasn't easy to back down from his values.
They just had their first fight in restaurant itself. Arthit had paid the bill by his card without Kong knowing. When Kong was informe the bill was already paid , Kongpob was shooting fireballs from his eyes.
" May I know why I wasnt allowed to atleast split the bill ? " Kong asked.
When Arthit said he had already paid the bill and they should let the matter rest, Kong outright asked " Because I am an omega ? Or because you think we can't afford the bill ? " Kong outright asked.
Manipulative little shit! Arthit knows even though Sutthilucks dont have same net worth as them, they have even more as fixed assets and liquid money— they just had different lifestyle than his family. Kongpob just wanted to pay the bill and not be those ' we want equality but let the alpha pay the bills' type of omega.
" It's is neither of those Kongpob " Arthit replied calmly. " It was a subpar experience. I'm thankful for you to bearing through it . Even making it pleasant for both of us — trust me only a handful of people have knack for responding to situations and not reacting. I'm glad I got have your company today. It's not fair that Besides bearing mental agony, you bear financial expense for it too !
Kongpob smiled " Nice speech. Let me see the bill now. I want to split. "
" It's already paid Kongpob...let's not make fuss over it. We have other place to be.. let's reach there before it closes. "
" I will pay our bill there. "
" Let me tell you in advance —' no ways' " Arthit Informed " Let me just do one thing right today, okay. I need it for my peace of mind. Please Kongpob. "
" What about my peace of mind. I don't want to be one of those omegas who are there only to look pretty and act delicate. I earn money and I can pay for my own food. I'm paying the bill. Let's settle it here or we are not going to go there at all."

" Oh ...you are saying please means I should agree to whatever you said. Lrt me tell you that's not happening. And here " Kong folded his hands onfront of his chest " Pretty please Arthit let me pay the bill" It was scary how Kong's expression changed to furious from cutely pleading within seconds and turned back to smoldering again. " I said pretty please now , so it should be settled that I am paying the bill and if you try to trick me like you did just now—" And Arthit tuned out. He needs a perfect reason that Kongpob couldn't logically counter.
So Arthit threw the card of 'Kong being his guest ' since he has called him to meet here. " Do you let your guests pay at restaurant Kongpob ? " Arthit asked " Modernity has its place and value but it's our culture to serve our guest, isn't it ? "
